Cruised through the first four episodes last night. Overall a pretty solid show. Would recommend if you enjoy World War 1 and World War 2 era stories or history. It’s an interest look at Socialism in the Soviet Union and how it became the country it is today.

    On Paramount+

Hosted book club for the book a few years ago, made a delicious Latvian stew but couldn't find a Georgian mukuzani so just went with a generic California red

I read somewhere that Obi-Wan and Hera needed an intimacy coach for their sex scenes, which is kinda funny since they're married in real life

Be aware that regular Paramount+ isn't sufficient; they want you to upgrade to the premium grade in order to watch it

One of my all time favorite books. I’m really curious how they are adapting it though…its not exactly heavy on plot. If it gets good buzz I’ll cave and get a subscription

They have done a good job adapting it, other than the british accents.

A fair criticism but I don’t mind it.

I got over it after the first two episodes, but it was weird at first.
