Arkansas apparently signed a 28 year old that committed to play for Bo Pelini at Nebraska in 2014 before going the MLB route https://www.on3.com/college/arkansa...rmer-mlb-player-commits-to-arkansas-football/
Im sure there have been, but Im blanking on older guys coming back after baseball that were position players. Seems like it's always QBs and Kickers
We brought D’Vone McClure back and he was like 24 years old at WR and then transitioned to DB and actually played a bit
This is the 25th anniversary since that happened and they haven’t had a 1k receiver since. They should have a ceremony before a game
I just looked at #Missouri Tigers schedule. Goodness they better be all on board to Atlanta with that slate.
Our schedule is very easy as far as SEC goes. Mizzou is in a weird spot. Expectations arent usually this high. At risk of being a sandbagger - I think they may be slightly over hyped. Offense should be pretty good. They return everyone but RB LG and LT. They did very well to replace those guys. Defense - they lost so much + a new coordinator. I think some people are taking it too much for granted that the defense will continue to be good. It can be, but there's a lot of big question marks. Theyve recruited well and done well in the portal, but it's a lot of changes. The schedule helps a ton because they really easy into it the first 3 weeks before aTm. Two years ago they lost every close/toss up game they were in. Last year they found a way to win every one but LSU. Expecting back to back 10/11 win seasons is new territory for the program. Fun times. But definitely not a sure thing.
Yeah, defense might be your tough point, but that shouldn't be an issue for most games except maybe Bama. I'd guess you're favored in every other time right now
He gets a pass. It’s shocking, but from what I remember about him as a recruit, he wasn’t raised in Alabama. He wasn’t brought up in that era but I guess it’s still shocking he didn’t hear that name in HS.
Kids and casuals rarely remember the defensive players. Especially a no nonsense Mike linebacker who played for a bad team for most of his career.
