"Why are the reigning and perennial conference champs posting in the conference thread?" Just means more over here fellas. Take. Notes.
people will be calling for interim petrino after we lose @ oklahoma state week 2. i will be one of those people
Ready to haze some Longhorn and Sooner pledges as is my right as a fully admitted and important member of the group
yes. Limited good hotels in Norman that will probably fill up early, but I think lots of Airbnb options. The Airbnb might fill up fast too. If you stay in okc, even though it is a 20-30 min drive, you can Uber that if you are boozing.
several, yes. The Omni is new and has a nice setup with Bob’s Steakhouse on site and a good sized sports bar (for a hotel), can’t remember the name of that. Food at sports bar is pretty good too. That would be probably my number 1 suggestion for okc. There are a couple other nicer ones in the downtown OKC area
The West USC could have our last two seasons leading rushers on their roster. What a testament to how lazy Lincoln Riley is about everything not QB related.
#Florida Gators have 11 P5 Opponents. Only 1 G5/FBS team Has that ever happened? I'd guess plenty of teams have 10 happen....but 11 just seems wild.
Awesome, thx. Yea I looked at the Omni. I think we’ll stay in OKC if Thunder have a game on Thursday or Friday. Otherwise probably just get an Airbnb in Norman and college town it for the weekend
We used to be the kings of 3 patsies and FSU. Never leaving the state. Then we all complained. And now look at us.
Georgia played Oklahoma St, Arizona St, and GT during one of the shitty Richt years when Joe Cox was QB. Those are pretty mid P5 teams, but OSU and GT were really good that year. AJ Green single handedly beat a crappy ASU team.
Watching this New Mexico St bowl and they brought up the beat down they gave Auburn. Y’all remember that?
At least that OSU team was pretty good. Now going to Boulder and losing to an awful Colorado team was probably Richts lowest, or losing to UCF in the Liberty Bowl that same year, but thank god the dream team turned things around.
Always hilarious to hear criticism of our ooc from people who weren’t aware we had to play top 5 FSU (who had no ACC title game) the week before the SEC title game in the 90s. It likely cost us a few shots at winning a title. Yeah I’m nostalgic as fuck for those days.
90s nostalgia when yall were Spurrier's major issue. I'm sue 94 still stick's in Spurrier's craw and we only lost that game and the tie comeback meltdown vs FSU.
Didn't get better than Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried on a Saturday night "Fulmer's staff outrecruited Bama the last few years" -what a time it was Vols had a seemingly endless supply of elite rbs and good olinemen
comparing UF's schedule to Ole Miss is an incredible variance in difficulty, no reason for Ole Miss not to win at least 11 in the regular season
Our first hire for our revamped NIL program is….. someone who worked for our original NIL who is like 25 and a former Razorback gymnast. Sounds like it’s more of the same. Guy on our 247 board claims that they have not responded to emails inquiring about corporate level donations and sponsorships, which I find incredibly easy to believe as that exact same thing was happening at the prior NIL setup. I think at this point hog fans probably just need to be satisfied with going bowling like 50% of the time because our administration seriously cannot be bothered to give a single fuck about the football program.
Lmao it is also open season on all of our commits and it sounds like they’re going to be dropping like flies lowkey stunned that no one wants to play for a lame duck coach
