I’m dead. I’m literally fucking dead. I know we are going to get skull fucked in arrowhead next week and I don’t care. Unreal.
I’ve slowly started to find myself rooting for the Jags after living here for a while. Was about to turn off the game last night when the kid woke up and came and feel asleep in me while I was on the couch. Then the jags started to come back so i kept him on my until the game was over.
It’s been 17 years & I’m still no closer to being a fan. I am happy for the excitement this season has brought to the city though.
I don’t love the NFL, but as a falcons fan. They have stunk and aren’t on TV. Plus I had ETN on my fantasy team so I just found myself rooting for them this year.
I don’t follow NFL at all anymore… It’s pretty unwatchable. If I cared, it would be for the Colts who I grew up watching. “Go city team, where I call home” is about as excited as I’ll ever get
I like looking out at night and seeing the bridge and every building (except Vystar) using teal lights.
Congratulations...I was estatic last night. Etienne is incredibly nice and respectful, he spent a couple minutes talking to my little cousin on Clemson fan day, I believe 5 years ago. From all I've heard, Trevor is a good guy, but never went out in college because he would get mobbed
I'm just going to keep posting, y'all are going to have to deal with it. That non-call on the Asante pick is abysmal. There is also some good breakdowns out there on how Doug adapted in the second half and used them sitting on the short stuff to open up big plays. I love that man.
I said it after the Dallas game, whatever happens the rest of the way I’m good, this season is a success because we found out Trevor and Doug are the guys. Super excited for a full offseason with those two and adding Ridley. There is a lot of work to do in the front office though to get all the re-signings done and restructuring to death to get us out of cap hell. Baalke doesn’t give me confidence there, but fuck it let’s go into the season as favorites in the south.
I know nothing about either player other than the blurbs I read when they were drafted but I like the idea of going OL and blocking TE to help Trevor live. If these particular players are good or not is a different story.
Don’t think the TE is a blocker. He’s way more of an Engram replacement. I’m fine with the positions.
I didn’t hate the OT and if he plays well it’s nice because we can save a bunch of money cutting Cam next year. That second rounder is a doozy, especially considering all of the TE talent in that round that we could have easily moved up for. Neutral in the RB pick, we do need a backup for ETN and Snoop looked absolutely abysmal when he got a chance to play. Baalke just has no credit with me when it comes to the draft. He’s shown he can build in free agency and roster moves (albeit he’s had the benefit of a huge budget in some of those years). But he’s a random Jets win in 2020 away from not getting Trevor and having a pretty atrocious record, especially if Trayvon busts and Hutch/Thibs ball.
Gotcha. I was just going off this, made it soujd like he can block. Like I said I know nothing about them.
Ignoring defense is just dumb at this point. 2nd day of the draft are just luxury picks, when we have dire needs at defensive end depth and at slot corner. Baalke had a terrible second day after having a good first day.
Didn't Shad just commit to 50% of the football complex buildout (the rest from taxes)? If that's the case, they aren't going anywhere
Not saying they are leaving but the team probably triples in value if it moves so a couple hundred million isn't going to stop it.
