We look like a functional team this year. Not expecting playoffs or anything but I can actually turn on the game and think we have a shot to win. That's awesome.
That was fun. We may actually have a shot tk compete for the division. Would be awesome to have meaningful football the last few weeks of the season.
My wife was pregnant with our first the last time the jags had a winning season, so she’s had a nice run of me not caring about football on sundays. I had to break the news to her this afternoon that we may actually have a good team again and she was not happy.
I’ve never wanted a player to not be a bust more than Trevor. Our first 1.1 pick, a no brainer generational talent, at a position we have not had competence in a decade. It sucks so much watching it play out in real time.
I mean he was 20/22 today. Can't really pin this one on him. Trayvon Walker penalties are becoming an issue.
Yeah I posted at the end of the half frustrated with him taking some shitty sacks. Can’t blame the offense today for anything. Idk what the fuck today was from that defense. Shaq Griffin was awful all day and we let Matt Ryan complete whatever he wanted over the middle at any time. If you tell me the offense scored 27 and Matt Ryan has to throw almost 60 times, there is absolutely no way I would say you lose that game. And yet we find a way.
#Jacksonville Jaguars i don’t want to be negative in such a good stretch, but we can’t pay Josh Allen in the off-season right? I wanted him to be so good and I know he’ll probably go to another team and be a pro bowler, but man he is non existent in so many games.
Evan Engram has been doing stuff. Hoping Trevor just needed to get the CUM out in games earlier this year.
Tyson Campbell has had a solid year, hasn’t he? And Oluokon got picked on some last night in coverage but he was one of maybe three good players the Falcons had on D. Happy for him too.
I'll be honest and say I'd checked out at 2-6, watched more Red Zone than Jags for a few weeks. 7-3 finish is pretty incredible. Trevor wasn't good last night but his play in the 2h of the season is encouraging.
Tyson has been mostly great all year. Foye is a tackling machine, but not awesome in coverage. Pass defense as a whole got much better when shaq griffin got injured and Darious Williams took over his spot.
Don’t think Trevor had a great game last night but the OL seemed pretty bad every time he dropped back.
The 2 missed TD's and the long ball down the right sideline that was 5 yards out of bounds stick out. He wasn't bad outside of those but those two missed td's have to be made. Receivers were wiiiiide open.
The guy has been one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league in the second half. Can we not shit on him for missing a few throws in a game they won…to win the division…after a terrible start?
So we’re basically stuck with the chargers right? I don’t see how Baltimore is in play but apparently they are.
I guess if Baltimore wins and LAC loses then that puts them at the 5. I was confused because I thought there was some sort of coin flip situation with cincy if Baltimore wins but I guess that would occur if Baltimore and LAC win since Baltimore would stay at 6. I want a Lamar-less Baltimore I think.
I'm going to regret not going tonight, kid didnt want to go in the cold and I enjoy watching with her bc she's getting somewhat interested. Hope we can pull it off.
