Last weeks ep was vintage YTW - great episode. Finally felt like they didn't try too hard for shock value or to be over the top, far more natural. Hoping for a good finale.
wow was I watching You're the worst or This is us, what an emotional roller coaster that was. Man when Jimmy told Gretchen that one day if possible he'd still like to know her and she said that was never gonna happen Chris Greere has been amazing showing Jimmy's growth as a character really going to bummed to see this show end next season. Only thing missing this season is we didn't get a our tree house from handyman Jimmy dammit
really strong end to a good, not great, season. sad that next year is it, although i'd rather shows go out on a high like this one hopefully will.
Idk i feel like another season is perfect. i dont want the show to go away but i feel like it makes sense.
I honestly don't know how this show will end. Most would 100% go with the happy ending with them getting married, but this show has never done what's expected of comedies.
I'm six episodes into binging S4. A few quick notes: The season premiere was excellent. I miss the old theme song video. Paul becoming rights right activist was hilarious/cringe-worthy at times. Also, was him being punched in the face remind anyone else of Richard Spencer getting hit a few years back? Lindsay & Edgar finally hooking up was a good thing to see. I can see Lindsay's new job spiraling out of control with some of the recent actions.
Quick notes (Currently on episode 8) Gretchen slightly reminds me of every "fling girl" that I've ever had during senior year of college up to now (Especially a chick that i had a massive thing for during winter session for). Her friend from HS was point on about her ability to think one way on a Friday and by Monday think a completely different way. I'm at the point where Boone is fucking done with her. But she flips a switch that makes him come back. This is by far the one season where I fucking hate Gretchen.
It's one of those series that if viacom returns to Netflix. People will say "Woah where was this series years ago". Honestly, it's a better and more believable version of the Netflix series "LOVE".
About 10 minutes in I was legit frustrated that they were going to waste to season premiere on some filler nobody story trying to be smart, but then they brought it all together
That is like the 3rd time they've done something like that. I think its pretty cool but I get why people don't like that. I like the slow burn into them planning a wedding which will be a complete shitshow.
Who knew Jimmy was such a cum hungry jizz goblin? And that ending made me sad but guess it doesn't necessarily mean bad things are coming.
Yeah they're definitely misleading everyone with that ending. BTW I did enjoy Mr Peanut butter being an asshole lol
