Do you think Beth or Kasey actually die? I think Beth is dead. All those scenes of Rip and Beth discussing their marriage and him getting his dead moms ring just showing us that Rip was ready to maybe put that all behind him but now he has no one to live for. Kasey never liked killing men but now he will have no problem stacking them bodies side by side with Rip.
I don’t see how Beth made it out except maybe her desk is made of steel or something. She’ll be disfigured and rip will still love her or something.

Same here. Too many people want them dead. And I don't see how Beth didn't die from that blast, but also don't know how they move on without her help. I feel certain Kayce blasted his way out of the attack. Him and Rip going scorched earth in season 4 though
Jamie almost certainly put the hit on John, and probably Beth too. Don't really understand why he (or anyone really) would have a reason to go after Kayce though, unless it's purely just to kill off the whole family.
Why wouldn’t they go after Kayce? The Dutton family has a stranglehold on the government. You can’t take out John and Beth without thinking Kayce will be coming for blood from a position of power and influence. The fact that Jamie wasn’t attacked at all makes me think he had a lot more to do with it than we might think.
Show is so good because you could make a case for one of three characters killing off either of the three. If I'm going to take a shot at it... John: 10% Roarke & Willa, 40% Thomas & Mo, 50% Jamie Kayce & Animals: 5% Jamie, 35% Roarke & Willa, 60% Thomas & Mo Beth: 5% Thomas & Mo, 45% Jamie, 50% Roarke & Willa
Beth: 50/50 Jamie/Roarke and Willa John: 50/50 Jamie/Rainwater Kayce: I don't think Rainwater would mess with him after what he's done for him/the Indians plus his wife. So I'm leaning heavily Roarke/Willa here. He was also the only one that didn't treat Jamie like dogshit 24/7.
The convo with mean Indian chick makes you think they could be responsible but Rainwater's guy is the 2nd biggest badass behind Casey so fucking up hits isn't gonna happen Guessing Jamie and Roark together. Hope none die but if 1 has to go, Kevin Costner is better than Beth or Casey
I think we all know John is going to be ok, his cellphone stopped the one bullet, hence the reason he pulled it out and kind of thought that it was ironic, the one thing he dreaded carrying saved his life. Kasey probably gunned down the hit men cause he was at least quick enough to get his dealer flipped and he was armed. Beth is gone I believe, all the talk about their marriage and how she said it was time to kill the bull. I honestly don’t know if Jamie has something to do with it or not. Yes he is now looking out for just himself but I don’t see him growing that big of a set of balls to kill his dad or Beth that quickly. Either way next season should be very good.
Jamie with his real dad seemed to be a red herring. Roarke and Willa talking about the oil thing vs the land thing was the decision for war, to me.
I agree, they thought just provoking the duttons would be enough. Obviously not, Now they are doing all out war. I think they get revenge along the way but lose another main character, either John or Rip.
Seemed like way too quick of a turnaround from the war conversation to bombs exploding and bullets flying to me. Doesn’t seem reasonable to get all the pieces in places for that timeline to work IMO.
This is why I think it’s Jamie. Telling the Governor that everything he does is for himself now foreshadows IMO
On the other hand how would Jamie be able to reach out to people that quick to build a bomb plus muscle to go after Casey and John? Roarke and Willa have the money to keep people like that on retainer.
Also they saw Jamie wants to sell the land so if they kill everyone else Jamie is all that's left and he will sell.
We don’t know how much time passed between his dad’s “kill the king” speech and the big meeting/kill day. We know Willa told Roarke to start playing dirty within minutes of all hell breaking loose. I’m not saying Willa/Roarke didn’t do it, but the timing doesn’t really work out realistically IMO.
agree but also at the beginning of the day John said he was all out of good days. That and they all had the same outfits on. Yes it’s unrealistic but they have to sort of speed things up for the shock factor.
Beth is going to be the one that kills Jamie, I will not accept any theory that has her dying. They all live.
