Norther is an absolute monster of an album, wow. I need a few more listens to solidify the new songs in my mind but it's damn good.
Sierra Ferrell has a new song with The Mavericks and many people forget how good they were. the ‘93 album What a Crying Shame is great.
Shane Smith and the Saints had incredibly high expectations for this album and exceeded them. My god what a phenomenal album.
Bella white got added to several Childers shows this year. That’s awesome. Wish she was playing at the one im going to
If you’ve gone through major life changes, left bad situations, etc then Navajo Norther is going to hit you like a freight train.
There's like a dozen of these fuckin guys on country radio airplay that are basically interchangeable bros. Russell Dickerson = Jordan Davis = Walker Hayes = Chase Rice etc. Who the fook are these guys. Russell Dickerson has 5 #1 hit songs and i guarantee you that dude has never been recognized in public once. For comparison, Vince Gill only had 7 #1 hits in his career. Country radio is a sad shell of its former self.
Saw them in January. no emotions felt. Have tix to them at Red Rocks with 49 Winchester and Hayes Carll opening. will most likely leave after seeing them

one of my favorite albums of 2024 is this guy Blaine Bailey. He's from Tahlequah OK and reminds me peak William Clark Green.
Listening to this now. Damn, it starts off with a gut punch of a song in American Dream. It reminds me of River from Isbell. Life moving quick, and even if you were able to go back it wouldn't be the same.
Yeah I've been listening to this and the Johnathan Peyton albums on repeat today. It's not as good as hers, which will end up being one of my favorites of the year, but it's still very good.
