The verdict is in. They both flutter between average and abysmal depending on the time of day and atmospheric pressure. Neither have lived up to their draft status. We all (but especially Bucs and Titans fans) lose.
Mariota was amazing yesterday. He threw a few that were absolutely perfect. The past two games it seems like the offense is finally gelling.
Mariota will never make as dumb of a decision as to attempt to steal crab legs from Publix so he’ll always have that
That QB class is epically bad. Those two, Garrett Grayson, Sean Mannion, Bryce petty, Brett Hundley, and Trevor siemien.
He was trash Sunday. I think they do a terrible job setting him up (sure I'll connect with one of the two WRs against 5 dbs while my pocket collapses after 1.5 secs) but he needs to be able to make what should be routine tosses in the flats and when he threw the ball into the dirt a couple of times. His confidence is shot and its palpable.
Took less $ so he could learn from one of the best to ever play the position while Mariota backs up the guy who wears eyeliner
That was the quintessential Jameis game. Play like crap for 3 quarters then get in a rythym in the 4th when the other team is up 2 scores and starts playing soft coverage.
Meh. Our OL was garbage for 2.5 quarters. That’s a good group and should be better most games. Winston had little to no time in the first half.
I am grateful to have lived through another chapter in this epic battle. Truly a showdown for the ages
He is what what he is. Not bad, but not great. He’s good enough to start but will never be the long term solution. Ridley not suspended Falcons probably win that game.
I'm not saying that your statement isn't accurate, but I feel like this is a verbatim quote from the Bucs thread circa 2015-2019.
Yeah his history is just that. Just think our OL is a lot better than they showed early yesterday. Plus the Falcons took Kamara out of the game.. both those should be better most of the season
