Gus was great as long as you did your job and didn't cause problems. Marlo was the same but a lot more brutal, he'd kill over rumors. Tony would be the worst of the three imo
This is a hard question considering that Tony is the main character of his series, and the other two are supporting characters. Anyway, Marlo appears to feel contempt for pretty much all human life except for Chris Partlow and that one gangster tomboy, so probably him.
I think a better poll would be which criminal would you most want to work for. Not a tv character, but working for vince vega would be fucking awesome. Vito Corleone would be great too.
I think Tony would be the best boss as long as you go way back with him and you're not a total fuck up. No talking to the Feds either. Marlo would probably be the worst because like Pesci said, he's only loyal to Chris and Snoop. I think Gus is being underestimated though. Keep in mind that he's slitting the throat of his #3 because he was accidentally spotted after Walter went rouge. There were no guarantees that the cops would find Victor much less link Gus to him. Or, he could have killed Victor to send Walt a message which is even more ruthless. No thanks

Tony and Gus would prefer to avoid violence if possible. If it was up to them, everyone would just do as they're told, the money would be made, and no one would get touched. Marlo uses violence as his default administrative tool. He has no reservations in regards to killing his own people and would be terrifying as a leader even if you werent fucking up
Marlo. Although it's a different kind of worst, Stringer would suck because getting talked down to by a cocky, wanna-be businessman dumbass every day would be miserable.
