Wasn’t a big fan but in HBO I trust so I’ll keep watching. Maybe it was Woody’s accent or some of the camerawork. Just felt off to me.
The a cent is kinda annoying. I’m guessing that’s how the guy talked in real life? I don’t really know a ton of details about Watergate so I’m enjoying this but I don’t know if it’s factual or not
The vibe I get is their entire approach is to make the whole thing look just as farcical as it actually was.
The Hitler speech at the dinner party was hysterical. Don’t find this super gripping (actually fell asleep during my first attempt) but for five eps I think I’ll see it through.
I didn't even realize it was only 5 episodes. Easy enough. It's directed by the same guy that did Veep (among other things).
I agree. It reminds me of the old Pink Panther movies. It’s supposed to be ridiculously stupid. When they finally start making the Trump movies I hope they do them in this type of style. Bunch of fucking idiots.
Great observation….the straight up bafoonery element was captivating. justin theroux should win whatever awards they give out these days for acting
