Is there any other team/manager that refuses to change formation ever? We have basically the same set up if we're 3-0 up or 3-0 down. Color me crazy but that should be relatively easy to prepare for.
I've been one to overreact but think the reaction from yesterday is pretty absurd at this point. We created a ton of chances vs a very good defensive team and should have easily had a few goals. The second half was a really good performance but wish horrendous finishing, mainly the Koscielny and Theo chances. Only problem for me is starting Flamini which was a pretty gigantic problem and finding a solution on the RW, plus Giroud to stop being a fruit. We're up against it, see how much fight the team has. Hopefully we stick with Gabriel.
I think Joel is fine as a RW. Still pissed we took him off to bring on Theo, who is fucking awful playing on the wing.
I think he's fine as a backup, his shooting is pretty awful though and he's not capable of changing a game when we're playing poorly. Should sign Gotze in the summer
while I don't disagree with this, I think it's the culmination of a 3 points from 12 run that has caused most of the frustration. and it feels like a season is slipping away (again) because we have a squad that got thin (again) in a season where the title is there for the taking (again).

Agree with that. Defending like cunts at the end of Liverpool may have been the start of it. It's gonna happen but I'm gonna be mad even when I see Flamini's name on the bench this weekend.
Yeah the Flamini part is the worst. I mean he pulled a guy up from the Championship last year and it made the team immensely better. Not sure why/where/how there is a hesitation to realize that Chambers/Rugrats/Ox would be better there.
Everyone just needs to settle down. We've had a shit run of form with a lot of bad luck but still 13 matches left and we're only 5 points off the top. Alexis and Ozil just played their first match together in a while. Coq just got back as well. Relax.
There's something inherently neurotic about liking Arsenal. We're just one Alexis brace away from winning the league again.
as messed up as it is, fans in the US take surcharges like that on the chin and don't even flinch. those Brits don't realize how good they have it. plus US teams other than baseball all have salary caps as well. they don't know owner greed like we do.
True, still a pretty bad time to do it. They do have it pretty shitty compared to the rest of the big clubs in the world.
Yeah, one of my favorite things a few years ago were the City fans pissed off about the Arsenal away ticket prices. This coming from the club that was still paying Adebayor £40,000/week to rot on Spurs bench. Smart lot that is.
Ade was on 100k+, believe Nasri is on like 225k right now. Joke club. Fuck sugarshaun too if he sees this.
£170,000 is what he was on then makes sense now with inflation. LOL, I don't hate the club for being able to do this, just that the fans are too fucking stupid to realize why the prices are insane.
No but our striker situation is really pissing me off, almost as much as rw. DM is its own category. Do wonder if Theo is just being a petulant cunt on the wing so he can get back to the middle.
Theo belongs in the middle. that's why RW is the bigger problem. although I wouldn't mind another striker obviously.
Arsene called rosicky's injury a partially ruptured tendon. Might as well take him out back and shoot him at this point.
Legit awful. This on top of the nearly 2 years we lost thinking he had a muscle problem that was really a torn knee ligament when he was in his prime (27/28 or so). I have a lot of unused airline miles. If there is a Rosicky testimonial, good chance I try to go to it.
He's literally the biggest reason I became an Arsenal fan in 06. I loved Henry and that team that almost won the CL that year, before the World Cup, but I was really new to the sport and didn't fully get invested until after that WC. Rosicky and a few others(including the double agent at Chelsea that should not be named) made me feel passion for the sport, he was so damn graceful as a player at his best. Even after all of the injuries, in those rare runs of health he had he was still a great player. More than good enough to start for a title contending team. Going to miss the hell out of him
Started the season off with Owen Goal leading our team for a solid month. They will come good. Played some quality in there and drew to a squad who has our number. Seriously not worried and no one else should be. If we are going to collapse it's definitely going to be in May, not in fuckin February.
Hopefully this morning was a wake up call... Leicester City isn't going to collapse down the stretch.
Even though it's bad for us, I struggle to not cheer for Leicester while I'm watching them (obv won't be a problem next week). Would love to have Mahrez on our right wing next year. Hopefully we can pip them at the line, but they are really fun to watch.
Speaking of their Danish keeper, I saw a funny Liverpool tweet this afternoon- "Since the last time Liverpool won the league: Peter Schmeichel signed with ManU, won the league 5 times, retired, had a son, and now his son is about to win the league."
We really fucking need a win tomorrow. Peter Schmeichel is also an absolute cunt, now jean can hate me even more.
