as effective and ruthless as germany was during wc 2014, the game against greece in euro 2012 with an in form ozil at 10 and the emergence of reus was the GOAT viewing experience unfortunately the brightest stars burn briefest and it is germany's destiny to accumulate massive amounts of trophy with ozil shunted out wide to accommodate herr kroos while reus remains injured on the bench
Actually out of town, Gunners is introducing me to the family for the first time tomorrow. Wish me luck! Merry X-mas to all of you big homos as well though, especially Jean-Ralphio .
Can't wait until the 75th minute when Southampton go full asshole Also Per is killing the passing game right now
Today wasn't a huge deal Bournemouth and Newcastle at home vs Leicester away and Watford away Need to gain 3 points on them with these games.
Nice sunshine pumping drunk post from me. Didn't see a minute, 4-0 to Southampton and Shane fucking Long
Guess it's happening. Happy to get it done early. David Ornstein @bbcsport_david 2m2 minutes ago #Arsenal in talks with #FCBasel to sign Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny. 23, needs work permit, is eligible for CL
I hope he does well there. Would be great for us if he can be functional cover for Coquelin, because other than waiting for Kos/Per to be sunsetted from the squad due to age I don't see where he gets much more than 15 appearances a year.
Our Mesut is in a mood today, just locked in and picking them apart with ease. Should be up more than 1
We score a ton of goals on corners and set pieces. Let Bournemouth off the hook, should have had at least 1 more.
Very happy with the performances from Ox, Chambers, and Gabriel. Needed those badly with all the tired legs. Thought Chambers and Gabriel were clearly our 2 best besides Ozil.
It was only Bournemouth but Chambers was very encouraging, showed some skill I didn't think he had. Per's miss was so hilariously awful I wasn't even mad.
Yup, and he is a skillful dude. Just his decision making that lacks. But against mediocre squads he literally just needs to get a game or two in where he literally passes backwards 90% of the time. A few years ago, I am pretty sure Arteta/Per led the league in completed passes. Then just need to make sure AA Ron and Ozil come back to help out with transition. Per/Kos/Gabriel/Nacho/Hector make that job insanely fuckin easy. He's got the best back line in the league behind him, just needs to fuck shit up in the middle.
Sidenote, Bournemouth's shambolic set piece defending took me back to dark days of Squillaci/Djourou.
Looking at our upcoming schedule, we need Alexis back. Should beat Newcastle at home but tough away games at Pool and Stoke after that, Stoke away may be the toughest fixture out there right now.
Our Alexis isn't back for another couple weeks right? Edit: Wenger just said maybe back for Sunderland. Ideally we shouldn't need him then.
Re-watched the Bournemouth game, playing particular attention to Chambers. He was very impressive & might have found his home.
