West Ham totally dominated, can't even believe I'm saying that. Drop Ramsey for Alexis and kill Giroud
I hate how stoppage time is used. It's almost expected to get 3 minutes at the end of the 90 but when there's real reason to add time, they rarely add enough imo.
It's the balance. We need at least 2 players with speed on the field at all times and trying to get in behind. Today, we put our best deep midfielder on the wing and also had nobody to get in behind for Ozil, Wenger needs to blame himself but he won't.
i agree but walcott should have played for Ramsey imo not Giroud. but its whatever we were missing more than that today.
OptaJoe @OptaJoe 35s36 seconds ago 4 - Arsenal have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League games at the Emirates. Misfiring. Giroud, Coquelin, Ramsey, Ozil, Santi started all 4.
With Ox back, there's just no reason to have Santi, Mesut, Ramsey, and Coq in the team at the same time. Coq/Santi or Coq/Ramsey, one of Ramsey/Santi to the bench or in place of Ozil if you want to rest him.
I have to remind myself that I usually root against us until the window closes. Deficiencies being exposed in embarrassing results is the only thing that might convince Arsene to strengthen. Job done Hammers. (Still )
Villa and West Brom were 2 of our best performances last year, think those 4 can work well but it needs Theo up top. Ramsey is a damn good player but you don't sacrifice Cazorla in his best position for him. 2nd straight year of questionable ridiculous management when we had something that worked the year before, hopefully it doesn't take 2 months to fix the problem like last year.
I would like to know what it feels like to have all transfer business finished in the pre-season just one time.
