Early CSI was pretty awesome. Miami caught a lot of flak for being cheesy, but New York with Gary Sinise was also pretty good.
House, csi (early on, stopped before it got to Miami or ny). Only one season, but poker face was good but wouldn’t put it on best list all time
The issue with procedural shows is they run way too long until they’re either ridiculous or repetitive.
Person of Interest is the best of all time even if it shifted away from the format. All the old USA shows were great as well.
Is White Collar a procedural? Over arching plots but a new case most weeks. If so that, it’s delightful
I'm a Law & Order slut since I watch them all. My favorite is the new one, Organized Cime, with Christopher Meloni who used to be on SVU. But it's not really procedural...
using the definition of “a case of the week” because I didn’t think of Supernatural as a “procedural“.
Although I've never seen it, Homicide: Life on the street is supposed to be one of the best ever. I'll go with X-Files, though. Bones was always one I enjoyed having on in the background, but it wasn't necessarily a great show.
Hannibal was a procedural for a season, so not a true procedural but i wanted to mention it because it was really fucking good
Psych was the best procedural and I am sad that I did not see this thread months ago to nominate it earlier.
