You think a place that has like 5 menu items would ensure their fries were always the same quality. I’m not a huge CFA fan, but their waffle fries are almost always the same quality
I will say for In N Out, it's extremely refreshing to eat somewhere that isn't just price gouging the fuck out of you not naming any names but 5 Guys comes to mind
I dunno where you live but in no universe is carls or jack in the box part of any big 5. Thats like saying the miami heat had a big 5 and including mario chalmers and shane battier
When this pricing becomes the norm in a dystopian future, it won't be health insurance as a job benefit, but a scheduled lunch time at off peak hours
I've only been to 5 guys a few times when some work group met up there for lunch, but every time I've felt shocked at the total when I order a burger, fries and a drink
Wendy's breakfast is the best part of their menu now. Breakfast baconator is the 2nd best fast food sandwich out there.
that is an extreme take but I will say that as much as I find most fast food breakfast delicious, I almost never get it because it seems like an insanely unhealthy way to start the day. A sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle can't be good for the heart
never mind the health issues, I don't think I've ever had fast food breakfast and not wanted to go immediately go back to bed afterwards. Not the start to a day I'm usually looking for.
Common knowledge that it's Hardees Steak Biscuit. I prefer to make it a steak, egg, and cheese and add a little grape jelly but to each their own.
I mean none of it is. I like/love fast food but almost never eat it because it destroys your waistline
Of course they are...they're better than any fast or fast-casual burger. But they've gouged the fuck out of their prices.
I just knew I was going to scroll down and be upset at your answer for #1, but this might be your best opinion on this site. I prefer the BEC or the Nashville hot chicken biscuit with egg and cheese added. Typing this from the Hardee's drive thru.
They’re two different types of restaurants and a Five Guys meal is nearly twice the price, so it should be a lot better.
No. In-N-Out is pure fast food (quick meal, drivethrus, etc.) like a McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s, etc. Get you in and out (pun intended) at a presumably low price. Five Guys and Shake Shack are fast casual. Food is still meant to be served quickly, but there aren’t drivethru options and the price point is markedly higher.
Oakland County changing the game. But my point still stands — Shake Shack/Five Guys are a bridge between traditional fast food and national sitdowns like Chili’s and Applebee’s as far as pricing.
I’ve been through a five guys drive thru on the east coast. They serve burgers with American cheese for christs sake, low key embarrassing. I’ve only been to two though so not a large sample size.
American cheese is perfectly acceptable for a burger. Their flaw there is not grilling cheese on the burger. Exceedingly few Five Guys have drive thrus - usually only where the building they bought had one. It wouldn’t order from one of those locations.
There's something fundamental where I can't pay $15 for hamburger. It's like the Panera chicken sandwich that's like $12. Is it going to be that much better than one I can get at Popeyes for $5.
does Wendy's think they're a coke dealer the Friday afternoon before a 3 day weekend? "ok ok, we won't do surge prices, we are going to start cutting our French fries with creatine and bovine de-wormer"
