Thoughts: main girl is great in the role of Wednesday imo. Story is a bit predictable in some parts but probably still a few surprises for most along the way. Has sorta dark Harry Potter vibes with the kids in cliques at the school, but also woke alert does a good job in making the normie vs outcast thing relatable. Good easy watching, looking forward to season two.
Watched 1st episode without seeing any previews. Was cool seeing Christina Ricci. Was that Lisa Loring (OG sitcom Wednesday) dropping off the hitchhiker that gets killed near the beginning?
Also, is the girl scout from Addams Family 1 and snooty camp girl from 2 the therapist? Edit: quick Google search = no.
We watched the whole thing last weekend, really good overall. Girl playing Wednesday was awesome, didn’t particularly enjoy the casting of Gomez and Morticia, they had none the magnetism and energy of Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston and their ages were weird for a teenage girl. Otherwise loved the relationship with Enid and the freaky Harry Potter vibes
On episode 6 now and I’m really enjoying it. Agree with the creepy Harry Potter vibe and hope they do more seasons.
Just finished it and really liked it. Not sure how they don’t have a season 2 considering it broke Netflix record for most views
Just found out the actor that plays Tyler is from my hometown and that Bryan Cranston officiated his wedding.
Just finished it last night after a week or two of watching. This was definitely my favorite casting. He really had the cartoon vibe of the character. They did a pretty good job with the whodunit misleading. Solid 7.5/10, will watch second season
