Ill post his answer from the PM I sent him since Im sure hes busy. "I wish I could provide you with that. Sadly Tag won't allow us to do that. You have to go to there website tagheuer.com. We have almost all the watches though"
I wish, Tag will not allow us to put watches online so you will have to go to their website to see the product. We have over 70 different styles so anything you see let me know and I can help you out.
Huh? If he has any 1500 regularly priced watches for that price shouldn't it be a decent watch? Most I've spent is 400-500.
Maybe you're right. In general I think that $300-$1500 range doesn't have a ton of great value options but I could be off base.
Value to me is "everyday" which is what I was referring to (great value). I wouldn't wear a $2,500-$5,000 watch to work everyday (I work in a lab) but I'm a father of 3 crumb snatchers and have a stay at home wife. I had a $1500 pair of Prada prescription glasses my daughter bent and I just about fainted.
Spending $700+ on a Quartz watch is fucking retarded. There is nothing value about Shinola... It's Fossil with"Made in Detroit" branding
I have too many watches already, but not classy blue. If stric006 wants to let that go for 1k, I nay be persuaded
They're nice looking watches for sure. Similar to Jorts point quartz movements in that range don't present a lot of value IMO. However, in the end if you enjoy the watch and like to wear it that's all that matters, my opinion doesnt mean squat.
I saw some Tags on Amazon in the 1500-1700 range. I thought if he could sell one in that range for 50% off (Black Friday sale) I might be able to get something nice at a decent price. My everyday watches are 500-600 bulovas which I love. Sorry I am not fancy like you guys.
UAW can eat a dick. I happen to like the Shinola brand & love the looks of a few of their Filson branded watches.
Anyone in the market for a Tag Aquaracer? I have a used one which is a few years old I am looking to probably sell. I just picked up he watch I was saving for the last year. Made the plunge and picked up the Deepsea Rolex. I fucking love it.
Got my dad this for Xmas 2 years ago. Looks good on a dresser and works well. http://www.brookstone.com/automatic...1WGAHWuZOL4vGL-dDaLUwjGHZuGn7EinJQaArIh8P8HAQ
I was just looking at some on Amazon. A company called Versa has some good reviews and make multiple watch winders.
I was looking at them here: http://www.wolf1834.com/ Just so damn expensive & wanted to see if there were any opinions/brand loyality here beforeI dropped $200+ on one think I want this one... Spoiler http://www.wolf1834.com/item/270302/heritage-winders/
I mean those are cool as shit, but I wasn't in the $800 for a dual winder market. Also you don't need a single watch winder if you only have 1 automatic watch imo. Wear it every day, and if you know you won't be wearing it for a few days, just give it some winds on your own. I'll only be buying a winder when I get a 2nd automatic.
The tag I've got will die if I don't wind it each night. I can have it completely wound in the morning, wear it all day, take it off at 5 and it will be an hour or two behind when I leave for work the next morning. Do you think it needs sent in? Both actually.
I know it's an unnecessary purchase, but I already have several autos & rotate frequently... I'd like to limit self-winding for fear of wear & tear.
Yes, it likely needs to be serviced. I recommend you send it to Tag through a local authorized dealer, as Tags customer service is horrendous... that way they can harrass them for you.
Here you are. It is a bit bigger than most of the Submariners and that was one of the reasons I went with it.
left my last watch in a golf cart the 3 weeks ago. finally pulled the trigger on a replacement. bought the same one that I lost because I just liked it a lot as a casual watch But while I was shopping I decided to get a link one as well, which I'd been against in the past because of skinny forearms making it slide up and down my wrist regardless of removing links. only $61 on Prime cyber monday. Just not ready to invest in a ~$500-1000 watch yet.
Trust your instincts... better to go with a Fossil/Skagen/Citizen/Seiko. It's laughable that they typically "retail" for $400+
Should have bought that James Cameron Deep Sea instead of the one the poors buy. If you aren't minimum of six digits in a quarter you're a poser with a deep sea. I don't say that being a douche as I know it comes off that way I say that knowing someone making less than that isn't actually using the watch as it was designed if that's the case. More power to you either way. Lord knows I don't buy shit planning on using it as God intended either. I mean hell I wear my Pateks while working on my cars and my ROO while working on my plot (recently purchased a little over 800 acres). Guess I look like I poser while wearing any those for those tasks as well. My DS gets worn while snowboarding and being in the woods as it feels like my toughest watch. I try to wear watches that feel suited for tasks even if they weren't technically designed for those tasks. The Pateks are thin so they work well in the engine bay. The ROO is rugged while out on my land and the DS can take a beating no matter what I'm doing. Have a few others but most of those are retired now that I gave up my pilot dreams (eyesight problems). You're wearing a nice shirt THF but that keyboard game shows you need some help in certain aspects of your life namely your career.
