Probably not really fair to any of the three guys I'm about to name, but I always felt like Caleb, Dexter Strickland, and Cole Anthony were the same mold of PG in the UNC system. If you put a highlight reel on, they would look incredible, but they never found the consistency that our great PGs have had.
that’s only unfair to two of them all had their flaws and i am a HUGE dex fan to the point that i think we win in 2012 if we had him instead of stillman but he’s not even close to the other two cole getting stuck on that shit team but still coming back from injury always resonates with me. just couldn’t account for coby blowing up like that
I agree talent-wise obviously Dex isn't really in the same ballpark, and I don't think Caleb is in the same league as Cole, but what I'm getting at is the archetype of the player. All 3 would have stretches where they looked unguardable, but couldn't quite put it together consistently.
