Emmanwori was awful except for one play where he had a nice tackle.

 

He and DQ bought into the offseason hype. Hopefully their subpar play so far this season gets corrected in the film room. Nick E, DQ, and Kilgore could be really good for us for the next 2-3 years. We sold out to stop the run. Put a lot of pressure on the DBs to man up. We don’t have the players to stop both. Every week our scheme will be to stop whatever the other team does best. Tennessee may run for 200+ yards on us next week bc we are going to play the pass.

 

Watched with a new colleague who is a three-time State grad. Everything went better than expected.

 

1st parents weekend as a USC dad…..for fuck’s sake. It was great and I feel old. Weather was perfect.

Not gunna lie, so far I’ve been kinda with this squad. They are at least exciting and play hard. Meechie is fun
