Need to get more ball handlers on the floor getting penetration and kicking to Rah for 3. That should be the whole offense. Shooters shoot.
I hate bad officiating but I can deal with it as long as it's bad both ways. College officiating as a whole is terrible everywhere and has been bad both ways tonight. I'm just glad we have a coach like Frank who has an attitude of fuck it, play through it.
I feel like Frank has a bad tendency to sit guys based that get in a rhythm offensively at the wrong time. Did it with Felder earlier and I feel like he just did again there with Sin.
Those two bad calls on Silva are going to cost us the game. We've been dominating them with him on the floor and he's now likely off until the last two to three minutes.
Another terrible call, Felder should've been shooting free throws as he was already in possession when the kid held. Fuck
This was by far the worst. I felt at the time that I must have missed something. Felder got the steal, got fouled, and then we took it out of bounds. However, we were already in the double bonus. Whether Felder had possession or not shouldn't matter. Only fouls that don't result in free throws are offensive fouls. Even if Felder didn't have complete possession, it still should have been a loose ball foul which would result in free throws.
What the hell happened to the 2014 recruiting class? Like, noboby panned out. 2012: Carrera, Kacinas, Chatmelon 2013: Sindarious, Notice, McKie 2014: ???? 2015: PJ, Silva, plus Gregory and Cobb who both were making solid contributions before fucking up. 2016: Kotsar, Felder, Keita, Gravett
If we just pretend c/o 2014 never happened it's clear from recruiting that Frank has the program moving in the right direction
I really wish Notice could score again. His on ball defense is the best we've had in quite some time. He stays in front of his guy and on the ball like no other. He also never picks up cheap fouls.
His average isn't really that far off at this point, but his efficiency is way down -- especially from deep.
We just need to figure out a way to keep Silva on the floor as long as possible. We are dominant when he's playing.
Frank roasted a UF fan on Twitter today. The guy responded to the graphic about us being the only P5 school undefeated in men and women's conference play and averaging 12k or more in attendance and said no one cares. Frank said we had 17k in attendance to beat you last night and you have 3 followers so really no one cares about you. Classic.
