Forced myself through the farm season, then like 5 or 6 more episodes before asking why I was torturing myself like that. There are just too many good shows on tv right now, so no need to waste my time with such a shitty one.
I stopped that farm season I think where they took the whole half season to find the girl and the big "reveal" was she was a zombie. They wasted like 7 hours of my life for that one moment.
Last night's episode was surprisingly good. Of course that means I'm probably in for 8 episodes of shittyness now. This season may be the last for me unless there are more episodes like last night's.
Has anyone watched Horace and Pete? It's a Louis CK show he made by him self and is just releasing on his website. Heard good things and will probably check it out at some point
Questions that have probably been answered but im asking anyway: When does Daredevil season 2 come out? When does Peaky Blinders season 3 come out? Netflix making any new shows i should be on the look out for?
Not looking good. That article was one big cock tease. "Here's a bunch of HBO projects that you'll probably never see"
yeah i read a collider article and they insinuated it had a lot to do with vinyls failures so far(more people are watching jon oliver's show than vinyl on the same night, and vinyl cost 100 million dollars). id much rather have utopia or westworld than vinyl.
i haven't. the only thing i've heard is that it's in the "so bad its good" category. unfortunately for it, there's too many "so good its great" (not to mention my other "so bad its good" or "so bad it used to be good but now it's not") shows for me to give it a shot
@CCR 4h4 hours ago Big #HaltandCatchFire news today! Season 2 is now available on @netflix ahead of schedule! https://www.netflix.com/title/70302182 everyone should watch if you're not yet watching
damn http://www.vulture.com/2016/03/2015-2016-tv-season-in-one-depressing-chart.html?mid=twitter_vulture
I think less and less people are just watching shows whenever they want instead of their scheduled time
that's L+7 data so live plus dvr viewership within 7 days. still nielsen only data and they still need a better way of tracking that info, but still, pretty crazy
I think if anything it proves that the Nielsen way is outdated. The best way is by going how many downloads they have on BTN.
Prob covered somewhere in here already but... Any podcasts you tv lovers recommend? I realize there are some that are show specific but I'm asking more along the lines of this thread, just like discussion of the industry and such
The Watch (and then their Game of Thrones one that'll be here soon) is really the only one I listen to. For all of Fienberg's faults, I miss him and Sepinwall's. It was nice to find out which new shows are worth watching/what they thought of the shows I watched regularly.
This is the hard part. So much to choose from these days. I use this board as a way to find new shows a little bit but it's tough because how do you read the thread to find out how people like the show without spoiling yourself? I also asked about the podcast though bc I'm fascinated to learn more about how shows get made and behind the scenes kind of stuff
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/category/renewcancel/ I use this site to see if a new show is worth watching.
watching scorpion last night. Stanley Husdon finally getting to judge people as an actual judge was amazing
I cut the cord a few weeks ago (it's going great) but I'm looking for a site I can check periodically for new shows, reviews, dates of upcoming releases, etc. Anything like that out there? A weekly email wo uld be nice- what's out there what's trending what's premiering

What did everyone think of the cancellation housecleaning on Friday by the major networks? Was surprised by a few of them.
I was most surprised that Castle was cancelled after they had resigned most of the cast for a ninth season.
I was kinda shocked but at the same time it was on the chopping block for like 3 seasons now and they didnt even want to resign Beckett for a ninth season.
