Goldeneye 64 Have been gaming since before then, remember my sister getting the NES for xmas, but think that game solidified gaming with friends.
Super Mario 64 Mortal Kombat II Mass Effect God of War Witcher 3 Red Dead Redemption 2 Grand Theft Auto 3 Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Skyrim Resident Evil Just missed: ghost of Tsushima
Just off the top of my head, in no order. mass effect ME 2 Zelda a link to the past Super Mario 3 Fallout 3 Fallout 4 Fall out New Vegas Skyrim Super Mario 3D world Resident Evil 2 Could probably add 10 more I could swap out at anytime
in no order because thats exhausting... Kingdom Hearts Destiny 2 FF10 Cyberpunk 2077 TLOU Metroid Fusion Minecraft Elden Ring MVC3 TFT
Horizon Zero Dawn Pokémon Yellow Super Smash Bros N64 Portal 2 Skyrim Ages of Empires 2 Civilization IV Super Mario World Roller Coaster Tycoon Zombies ate my neighbors

Witcher 3 KOTOR The Last of Us Goldeneye Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Elden Ring God of War 2018 Metal Gear Solid 3: Snaker Eater Mass Effect 2 GTA: San Andreas
Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball (SNES) Earthbound NFL Blitz Perfect Dark Halo 2 GTA: San Andreas COD: Black Ops Mass Effect trilogy Witcher 3 Hollow Knight
I chose 11 because I’m a rebel who doesn’t play by the rules. Tecmo Super Bowl Zelda: Link to the Past Street Fighter II Heroes of Might and Magic III FFVII FFX GTA: Vice City Bioshock Dragon Age: Origins TLOU Monster Hunter: World/Iceborne

Off the top of my head I would go with: MGS 3 Snake Eater KOTOR Resident Evil 4 Half Life 2 Bioshock Mass Effect 2 Skyrim The Last of Us Witcher 3 God of War 2018 Honorable Mention to both Red Deads. Love the story and settings. R* just needs to get better gameplay.
I just didn't think it was a good game. People kept telling me it gets good after the first 15 hours or something like that. If it takes 15 hours to get good then that is a problem. Also just didn't like the combat or the art style. Was the beginning of the end of Bioware IMO.
Also, whatever my list was will definitely include Ragnarok by the time I'm finished with. I'm pretty confident in saying that.
Breath of the Wild Mario Odyssey Metroid Dread Etc I’m to the point where I realize new games shit on what we had in the 80s/90s. Yes those games have nostalgia fun factor but what neophyte would pick those given a choice
Man the indie scene currently has an awesome way of pulling at those nostalgia strings while also giving you some new age fun. You should try dead cells if you haven’t yet
It’s way too hard for me to do since a lot of games that are beloved to me are objectively shitty games by modern standards. I’ll limit this to PS2 and onward non-PC games mass effect 2 Witcher 3 Bioshock GTA San Andreas Fallout 3 Fallout New Vegas Last of Us Last of us 2 Dragon Age Horizon Zero Dawn Ghost of Tsushima right outside I could probably do an entire top 10 that predates PS2
MVP Baseball 2005 Age of Empires (2 if I had to choose but 3 is very underrated) RDR2 Assassins Creed (1 or Odyssey) The Last of us GTA San Andreas Ncaa football 06 Diablo 2 Red Alert Goldeneye Honorable mention: Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition
If you guys haven’t played them suggest: system shock 2 with all of the graphics mods and vampire bloodlines with unofficial patch ss2 Is seminal horror action rpg, very atmospheric game that influenced tons of modern games. vampire is from the team that did fallout 2 and is amazing but has a lot of rough edges at launch. Hotel level is also basically the shining in game format, just fantastic game design they are both available on gog for cheap
Halflife 2 was GOAT for me. Fuck them for never finishing that story Diablo 2 ate my youth so that gets a spot Red Dead redemption 2 was incredible
FF6 FF7 FF9 FF Tactics Halo 2 Goldeneye Civilization 5 Zelda LTTP Chrono Trigger Xenogears Xenosaga 1 The NCAA football game series NHL 94 I cheated and went over 10 but these were the first to pop into my head
Gonna lump some games together that are same series/concept Hades Binding of Isaac FIFA(2007-2014 era) Destiny Spider-Man(OG PS2 Sandbox and newer PS4/5 version) Skyrim Final Fantasy(10 if I have to pick one, then 4-6) Kingdom Hearts Witcher 3 Super Mario Odyssey Nostalgia Honorable Mention: Original Duke Nukem 2D games. First video games my dad taught me how to play before they got me a Nintendo
glad to see Chrono Trigger on a list. No idea how I could narrow it down to 10 and keep my childhood favorites CT and Secret of Mana on it. SoM was waaaay ahead of it’s time in the Co-Op free roam fighting open world design
