Decided to reread this with the anniversary last week. Been 11 years since I read it so I remembered the broad strokes but not all the details. Have had fun over the last couple of days listening to the audiobook. I’m 8 hours into the 30 hour book
I used this months audible credit on this book with high hopes, but it just isn’t doing it for me. Maybe it’s the narrator? Certainly his voice for Sadie is over the top. I want to like it but is just….dragging. George’s time in Jodie really stalled the pacing for me. I thought his time in Derry was interesting, and I’m sure I’d appreciate it more if I ever read IT. King has always been a little hit or miss for me though, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised.
