I have oogled many a Challenge starlet over the years....that was a great 60 seconds for the women viewers.
TJ already said if you and your ride or die can make it to the end they'd have a shot. Seems like the 100 hours is meant to get people to quit, not necessarily build a lead. Guessing every team still standing near the end will have a chance to win regardless of previous days' challenges. Horacio is too good for the Challenge, guessing he does a short run of seasons and moves onto something else.
Felt so bad for Olivia getting the shit kicked out of her. She probably shouldn’t have been allowed to use the slingshot with one hand and just fingers. They could have called an audible and let Horacio take all the shots. Executive producer obviously felt really bad to go console Horacio.
Horacio seems like a pretty grade A human...which probably stands out quite a bit with so many shit heads that have been on that show. He's probably extremely gracious to the production crew and what not, which probably endeared him to her too.....or she just took it as an opportunity to hug Horacio and I can't blame her for taking that shot.
Maybe I missed where this was already discussed, but why were none of the UK people on this season? I know a few have had legal issues, but for the rest was it just that MTV didn't cast them, or maybe they're all on some other version of the show? I thought Kyle, Georgia and a few others were set to be regulars.
Literally anything but being on the Challenge. He seems like a genuinely decent human and those types don't tend to have long careers. Would guess he's more likely to be a Landon or Emily, who were physically dominant but not built for the political aspects and quit after a few seasons. It takes a special type of narcissistic personality to grind through season after season, that on the surface he doesn't seem to possess.
It's not the Challenge but the Koreans have an interesting gameshow that resembles it. One hundred contestants in top physical shape compete in a series of grueling challenges to claim the honor — and cash reward — as the last one standing.
Excited for Tori to finally get her first win tonight so that producers can go back to casting actually competent female challengers
TJ laughing while everyone is puking got me giggling. Then when Nany puked on bananas I absolutely lost it.
it's been a running internet conspiracy/troll that the reason female casts have been so weak recently is that they want her to be the face of the show and are trying to get her a win
She’s a good competitor whose messy politics have thrown her in more eliminations than she would have seen otherwise.
Original Release February 20 - 23, 2023 The Challenge UK is an upcoming installment in the Challenge franchise. This will be the first season to air exclusively on Channel 5. https://thechallenge.fandom.com/wiki/The_Challenge_UK
lol she's 100% winning tonight. Also, looks like having to win to move on to the world champions that always talked about during the Challenge USA season went out the window
That timing definitely doesn't line up to the "winners move on" thing if they're going to be overlapping airings?
Spoiler Aneesa is breaking the rules on the challenge and they aren't calling it out or anything. Am I wrong? She's chasing Nany into the ring which is why Nany is panicking and rushing. Nany is still dumb, but she's doing it in response to Aneesa not following the rule?
Kinda a weird final the way they ended it. The irony is that had aneesa/Jordan made it to the actual final challenge it wasn’t some huge endurance thing so in theory they could have had a legit shot at winning
At some point they have to stop casting Aneesa due to injury risk. It's almost irresponsible to keep putting her into situations given her current level of fitness
Was thinking the same thing. I feel bad but at some point if she insists on continuing, she has to get serious about being in shape or they need to stop casting her.
Even without the injury concerns, what has Aneesa done to deserve to keep being cast period? I’ve never understood it.
I like how they prop her up and call her a beast because her 12 or whatever elimination wins but omit the fact she's lost 15.
Partial list of the cast for the World Championship. Challenge legends Amber Borzotra Darrell Taylor Jodi Weatherton Johnny "Bananas" DeVenanzio Jonna Stephens Jordan Wiseley Kaycee Clark KellyAnne Judd Nelson Thomas Nia Moore Theo Campbell Tori Deal Wes Bergmann Yes Duffy Global MVPs Ben Driebergen (The Challenge: USA) Danny McCray (The Challenge: USA) Justine Ndiba (The Challenge: USA) Sarah Lacina (The Challenge: USA) Emily Seebohm (The Challenge: Australia) Grant Crapp (The Challenge: Australia) Kiki Morris (The Challenge: Australia) Troy Cullen (The Challenge: Australia) Male cast is pretty stacked, female is kind of mid again. For those of you that didn't watch Challenge USA, Sarah is the worst.
TJ not giving Bananas and Nany shit for quitting... BOOOOOO Good season. Also - the constant bitching about Aneesa itt is worse than her actual game play *ducks*
