Trillium so far: DDH Melcher St > Congress St > Pier > Sleeper St > DDH Pubick House > Free Rise Really liked all of them except for Free Rise. So far I do not share the opinion that Trillium > Tree House. Tree House I had Green, Alter Ego, Julius, and Ssssappp
Nothing worth bragging about, but local place had a "lost keg day" where they pulled a bunch of small single kegs they "found" in storage. So been a good day of random beers. Had some strong ales, some altbier, and a couple red ales.
Did you get any dialed in? Nothing at tree house really stands up to it anymore. Problem with tree house is the insane long lines and the fact that the beer could taste diff each batch.
Did get some dialed in cans, haven't drank them yet. Will drink tomorrow. So far from what I've tasted so far (6 beers from Tree House, 8 from Trillium) Tree House > Trillium. Also had DDH Congress Street and DDH Sleeper Street tonight
Only got a couple cans each on these. I think they'll start making a lot more of them though. I'll definitely hook you up when I'm able to get more of something.
Just spent a couple of hours at a local brewery with one of the guys from trillium that opened charlestowne fermentory. Cans coming soon but they don't want to distribute outside of the charleston area so send me all your goodies
Sup guys... Long time no see Just finished up San Diego beer week and we had all kinds of good ass events. A good mix of beers at the events I went to. But the one that I was most glad to attend was a Dark Horse brewing night at the most biker'is looking bar. Cheers to you all. I can't remember which TMB'r I traded with some years back when I first began visiting here, but that was one of my first trades and it had some Dark Horse.
Good choice. Always one of my recommendations for NYC. Peculier Pub is another good spot not far from there (cash only, or so it still was when I was last there about 3 years ago).
Quality Meats is one of my favorite steaks in NYC. Highly recommend that. Now, if you're REALLY about that life you'll go here
i'm partial to the classics like Murray's & Ess-A-Bagel. Russ & Daughters if I want a good smorgasbord
I'll let you know next time I head up to Athens, and we can work something out. What area do you live in?
