Saw where the 2.0 got locked and archived. I enjoy discussing the great state and we need a thread for same.
Shad White is locking up county clerks left and right over $20k here and $8k there, but Brett Favre and the former governor stole how many million and haven't faced any consequences. Is Shad even investigating that or is that not in his jurisdiction?
Rouses got that blueberry cream cheese king cake that when you bite into it the cream just shoots all up in your mouth
You have to get the Rouses cake with filling otherwise you're getting that dry cardboard king cake. I've also heard some votes for Pauls. And then NOLA people are obsessed with Dong Phuong which I've never had. Le Bakery in Biloxi is a Vietnamese bakery that is supposed to have bomb king cake but I don't think I've ever had it either.
Hey Guys. Gonna try and get into the office tomorrow. Need to make sure the olds who don’t know to call my cell phone don’t have any claims. Haven’t had a car accident yet so that’s a plus. People seem to be staying off the roads.
Planning a trip to the delta to see some college friends that I haven’t seen since graduation. Never thought I would miss that place
It’s awesome that insulin is now capped! Edit: whoops sorry thought this was also a thread on diabetes :/
Shad posted this today: "Today my team announced our new counter-suit against Brett Favre to recover welfare dollars. Last February, Favre sued me for defamation for truthful statements I made describing Mississippi’s large welfare fraud scandal to taxpayers. In other words, for doing my job. Mississippi’s Constitution and laws require that the State Auditor act to protect the taxpayers and fully collect all public funds which Favre received. Favre’s meritless defamation suit provides the opportunity for the recovery of the principal and interest which he failed to repay. Originally Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office represented me in the case with Favre. On January 5th, though, the Attorney General’s Office announced they would no longer represent me in the case because I “call[ed] into question the integrity of the Attorney General” in my book. Since then, attorneys at the Office of the State Auditor have been handling the case. Now that lawyers from the Office of the State Auditor are trying this case, we are going to ensure Mr. Favre is held accountable for his acts and omissions."
