Really isn't a lot around here that isn't your typical fast food/chain.

 

There is a Takorea one exit down on Chamblee Dunwoody that isn't bad.

 

How about going back towards the city?

 

Breadwinner, henris bakery, hearth pizza, and clays are all in that area and very good.

 

you can't ignore traffic and friday TSA lines (unless you're pre-checked which I recommend)

and if you're taking marta there really isnt anything right by a station other than the varsity

I cant really recommend anything you'd have enough time for

 

You can come to the cafe in my building. It is average to ok.

 

Persepolis on Roswell Rd is a good Persian buffet. Been there forever and always reliable.

 

isn't there a Capital Grille out there? have no idea if thats good or not

 

There is one in the Perimeter Mall parking lot. It's much better than the one in Buckhead. Joey D's is also in the same area but I would'nt say either are quick though both are pretty good.

 

is it a table show? i heard there arent as many of them there anymore...which completely defeats the purpose.

 

Honestly man, I'm not sure... I've never been there, I just saw they were playing.

 

What night were you at Gunshow? I was there 4/4 and it was quite the experience.

 

4/1, I tried every dish, brussel sprouts + oyster shrooms were ridiculous

 

On the advice of a friend I checked out Sams BBQ1 in East Cobb today.

I was skeptical but it wasn't half bad. The ribs were really solid, and I liked their take on Mac & Cheese. Pulled pork was so-so.

The place is located in a strip mall off Lower Roswell. The interior is very East Cobbish - drab seating and filled with middle aged white men. The TVs of course had on Fox News.

Overall a B and will go back if convenient.

 

I think dave poe's is a little better in that area but pretty similar.

 

My reign in Atlanta approaches ever nearer. Please refrain from rushing to pledge fealty to me all at once, everyone will get their turn to bend the knee.
