Those same episodes are in syndication on like three different cable channels at the moment, plus paid a premium for on streaming. Feel like there’s a large misconception on the content of those episodes compared to the rest of modern TV
Like the whole point of the show is that we all have weird, offensive, ignorant bosses and corporate overlords... I think it would be just as (if not more) funny today than when it came out.
Currently watching Dwight give a pro working class dictator speech at a sales conference and I can’t imagine this ever being replicated
But this is what made the show so great. Michael Scott offended everyone and had no awareness that he was.
sure, the new michael has to offend in new and creative ways that don't upset the sensibilities of 2023.
