Thoughts? Don't know much about the company but I dig this bone stock http://www.cncwarrior.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=27913
I've only been a gun owner for 4 years and I'm 36. Being new to the community and seeing how easy it is to obtain all things firearm related (in PA at least) was literally shocking. Cross the border into NY, NJ or DE and I'm not even bringing my piece into the state. There is no happy medium when it comes to firearms and their laws in the US. I'd like to see more consistency on state and federal levels and yes, that includes mandatory skills and knowledge testing.
Kimber has been on my radar. . .along with everything else. I've don't own any 1911's but I like the Kimber style. Fathers day comes quick.
Father's Day I'll be aiming to get the stainless pro raptor II http://www.cabelas.com/product/kimb..._SEQ_105529680?WTz_st=GuidedNav&WTz_stype=GNU
Another knife today, modified drop point tanto blade, S35VN steel and full titanium frame. Cyber Monday steal at $190, you will not find a multi-row bearing full titanium knife this size with quality steel for under $200.
Love these. Quick question. Where do you store all this stuff? A safe? Gotta be getting quite crowded.
Currently I have them laying around the house and the $1,000+ ones are in the safes. Tracking shows come Monday I'll have my safe door organizers so I can have them all in the safes. They're velcro versions of these which will grip well to my carpeted safe doors.
In Alabama, you show up with $30 and if you're neither a felon nor a domestic violence convict you can get your permit on the spot.
Picked up my M&P today. Gun and four 17rd mags for 480. My afternoon will be spent trying not to fuck up putting in the Apex trigger. I also channeled my inner burnttatertot and got myself a Ken Onion Zero Tolerance 350SWCF in carbon fiber with the stonewashed blade as a late birthday present to myself. Been eyeing this bad boy for a while. Balance is perfect.
Best knife I've ever owned is a Ken Onion Kershaw. Lasted over 10 years on the street before i retired it. Been through about a dozen in the 6 years since. For what it cost, this bitch better ebd that streak.
Any of you guys ever try the SOG power assist multi tool? I'm in need of a new multi tool and am debating SOG and leatherman (replacing a Gerber multi tool that was shit).
I have one on my vest. It's ok. Personal preference but i like gerber that has the pliers that flip out better.
It took two weeks to get mine. It's stupidly simple, but not so simple you just go and pick one up on a whim.
I've been really happy with my skeletool. It seems like so many multi tools try to cram so much crap in them that I'll never use and it makes them pretty bulky. Skeletool is the bare necessities: knife, pliers w/ wire cutter, screwdriver(philips and flathead), bottle opener, and pocket clip.
One thing it might be missing if you're looking for camping and backpacking use is a can opener. Though I'm sure you could figure out a way to make it work. At the very least, it's a good edc multitool.
Alabama does administer them by county Sheriffs, so it can vary across the state. In two of the three counties where I've lived, you can get it within the hour if you're willing to wait. I let mine lapse, so I had to reapply in Jefferson County recently. There was a lady there with me who was asking what type of gun she should get. She'd never owned one before...
I'm in the market for a general use handgun. Had a Kimber 45 back in the day that I loved, but it was over a grand over 10 years ago. Not looking to spend that much and no telling what they cost now. Easy choice seems to be a Glock 9. Educate me guys. TIA Still sad I sold my Kimber. I did it b/c my wife wanted a camcorder. Bought her a top of the line Sony that saved to DVDs. A few months later flash was everywhere and her camcorder was then a useless piece of shit. :(
I'd recommend Rev since I carry one. Only tool missing that might be a deal breaker is the mini saw. Other than that you have everything else you 'd need aside from the toothpick, tweezer and bottle opener.
I had a glock 23 forever that I loved. You may be able to get a decent 1911 under a grand but I've never shopped for one. I got mine special lol.
Do you have a link for the apex you got? I have the same M&P and have been wanting to put in a new trigger. Would you mind letting us know how it goes putting yours in?
I got this trigger kit because we have a minimum poundage policy https://store.apextactical.com/WebDirect/Products/Details/191840 I can't decide if I want to go with a flat trigger or not
Fresh outta Mother Russia, a three bear Shirogorov and a titanium take down tool/pen. A steal for only $1,300. Neither shoot 9mm.
Been shooting sporting clays more recently and thinking about getting myself a 20ga O/U for christmas. Can anyone school me on Over Unders? I currently shoot a 12 gauge Benelli Legacy, have held a few of the berettas in the store that felt good.
Are you asking me why I bought it or why the M110 used such a long suppressor? Personally, I wanted to own the M110 SASS. 'M110' refers to the rifle system (suppressor, glass, etc.) and not just the actual rifle. It's a legacy piece of modern-day small arms history. Practical compared to current technology? Not at all, but ten years ago it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. It's still cool as shit.
If you're currently shooting clays with a 12gauge, you'll be quite happy transitioning to said same with a 20 gauge....
