Was pretty high last night and didn’t pick it up at all but upon a fast rewatch Spoiler it was Skully if you’re dumb like me and didn’t figure it out
That episode was on point and I don't know who to root for. Everybody sucks but I was kinda pulling for Gustavo, then he got busted.
TBH I thought it was the final season with a movie to follow. Guess I'm thinking of Peaky Blinders, but I thought that was the case with this show too... People following the breaking bad recipe. Oh well I'm just as happy that we get an entire new season though. Just not sure how they're realistically gonna do what they're trying to do with Franklin and make it believable. Unless he's gonna use that stolen money (I thought his first move would have been to the airport since most people don't have the luxury of a private jet and pilots license after performing a $70M robbery, but that would have been the smart play and not good TV) to basically hire a CIA-hunting task force because black diamond and her friend aren't taking down Teddy. No Avi anymore to get Franklins people guns. Just don't see how they can make his current mission a success and be believable and wouldn't be surprised if Franklin and Louie/Jerome all go down and we don't get a happy ending for the main protagonist. We shouldn't. Kinda been an overall theme that keeps circling back to how bad of a shit show the entire CIA Op turned the drug problem into.
Gustavo getting arrested:( Jerome and he are my favorite characters I also thought it had series finale vibes . not sure how they will make the Franklin storyline fit next season
he's made his mission pretty clear but at this point it's a case of how do the writers put that mission on screen without making the show get so far fetched that it's not believable. So far they've done a great job making his handling of different situations be pretty believable and don't have the plot holes army attacking every outcome.
The sixth and final season of “Snowfall” will return Feb. 22 at 10 p.m. ET on FX, and stream the next day on Hulu, the network announced. The premiere will include the first two episodes of the 10-episode final season. The final season kicks off during October 1986, as a brewing civil war threatens to end the Saint family. After being wiped out by former CIA officer Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), Franklin (Damson Idris) becomes desperate and is forced to rob his own blood to get ahead. Now faced with losing everyone he loves and everything he built, Franklin has to out-maneuver the KGB, the DEA and the CIA, along with the LAPD’s corrupt CRASH units, to survive. The drama series was created by John Singleton & Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, and is executive produced by Singleton, Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Amadio, Michael London, Trevor Engelson, Walter Mosley, Julie DeJoie and John LaBrucherie. Idris also serves as producer. Andron serves as showrunner. “Snowfall” is produced by FX Productions.
Bought Hulu for a rewatch, so good There’s a lot of questionable shit but Teddy not warning Gustavo that the DEA bitch who brought him and Lucia down was working with him then a hey surprise it’s me was really dumb.
Yeah, Jerome was my favorite person in the show but I'm going to side with Franklin Saint. Now if he can get his MIL to still back that 73 million, teddy will be shaking in his boots.
good first 2 episodes Gustavo and Jerome still my two favorite characters . Oso being a DEA asset keeps him in the episodes which is good , thought he was done after the season finale arrest
I was not expecting the way Lee engaged at the end. But yeah, I’m ready for any and everyone to die, especially Lee.
goodness Franklin nice to see a brief glimpse of ‘normal fun’ Jerome talking Lakers-Celtics at the Car Shop Gustavo can’t quit Teddy
The scene with Jammin Jerome at the mechanic was really sad. It's going to get dusty in my house when he dies
Knew the end was coming when he said I’ll do the drop but still sad. I’ve definitely teared up over TV shows but didn’t get near that grimy ass pimp had me pretty disgusted
Caught up was behind and accidentally clicked on this thread the night of the episode. thought it would be either Jerome or Leon. So sad ..had me in the feels. Jerome was my favorite character, just a really sad ending with him struggling so much mentally/emotionally leading up to his death.
