What a roller coaster of emotions with Ibra retiring, Maldini being fired and then the Tonali sale. Milan had me fucked up, mentally trying to justify spending 40m on Frattesi.... But Moncada is cooking, that sale of Tonali helped take a roster in purgatory and turned it into possibly a favorite to win the league next season. What a off-season The rumored summer budget was 50m so add that with the Tonali money and maybe a few more players being shipped off it's entirely possible we have money for Musah and maybe another talent.
Oh and it looks like were actually making legit progress on our very own 70k stadium. Guess Inter will stay in San Siro as that ownership is broke
Looks like we are setting up Riccardo Calafiori as the back up to Theo and possibly Singo as the back up to Calabria. Heard we are still 5m off from Musah, hope that gets done.
https://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/int...ncolo-e-l-addio-san-siro-AF6HhHO?refresh_ce=1 Looks like both teams will have stadiums and the San Siro will left to eventually crumble...
tbqh I could give zero shits about Inter. I'm just glad some "progress" is being made on Milan's side.
I need to get to a big game at San Siro before they eventually move or before the wild fires burn down my home in Sicily.
My family live in Cinisi… it’s only a few minutes from the airport that was circled by flames for a few days. Fun stuff.
Well shit hopefully they’ll be fine. My family is in Castellammare del golfo so if Cinisi gets impacted badly it’ll be on its way there too
The wind has calmed down allowing the figure fighters to gain some control. The pictures are frightening. My father flew home from Sicily on Monday morning. They closed the airport a few hours later. He got out just in time.
Everyone is fine, most are with out internet. Some without phones and power. But the flames shouldn’t do anymore harm.
Milan looked fantastic for 45 minutes and then coasted to the end. I think we’re going to score a lot of goals… good possibility we give up a ton as well. especially when Krunic and Pobega are your guys you running in place of Kessie and Tonali to close games out.
Not being able to go to the locker room because the AC was broken and having to stay on the pitch at halftime probably didn’t help the second half fatigue. Pioli’s weird insistence on keeping Krunic looks awful.
This Serie A season looks like it should be a lot of fun. 7 teams that could all get top 4 or higher and 4-5 teams that could win the scudetto Juve looks dangerous with no Europe to worry about and Chiesa back in form Inter is great when Luataro is scoring, but can he play every game? Not a lot of depth there Milan should score, but the defense and CDM positions are big question marks Will Roma get everything fixed or continue to underachieve? Lazio looked solid for 85 minutes at Lecce before falling apart Napoli is going to score a lot, without Kim is the defense going to hold up? I think they are in a good spot Atalanta is a sneaky top 4 contender, of course Gasperini can get something out of CDK
Also no real alternative if Dybala can't go. Seems like its like Milan was last year, if Leao was out we weren't scoring.
I think Musah is going to be a big addition to the CDM role. The midfield looked underwhelming so he’ll have all the opportunity to take a starting spot. Lazio is still Lazio until proven otherwise. Drop points against teams they should handle and then beat teams better than them. This next 3 game stretch is tough and will determine where they’re at with the top teams in the league. The roster is better than last year overall but non of the signings will be able to replace SMS.
Yeah I don't think Lazio, Roma or Atalanta have enough to get into the top 4. Juve win the league Inter Milan Napoli That's my top 4 in order.
If Lukaku joins then I think Roma can be competitive if these walking health disasters somehow stay healthy. I'm looking at you Dybala and Sanches.
Hasn’t been good for the last 2. Juve and Inter haven’t put up much of a fight to get/keep him which is telling on its own. Personally I think he’s washed at this stage of his career
When Juve, Inter and Milan all pass I think that speaks volumes. He will be a upgrade for Roma but I don’t think he moves the needle when it comes to top 4.
Musah coming in to replace him is a good sign of things to come. Time for him to show out here Gattuso making the call to vouch for him is pretty cool
Torino is going to struggle this year. I haven’t seen much out of him thus far to think he’s going to cut it as a starter on a champions league team. I would say the game next week will be a good barometer but Roma without a healthy squad isn’t a good gauge. The game in 3 week’s definitely will be.
