before we go any further i'd just like to point out that you equate eating a block of cheese with bachelor paradise.
Last night was 2 of my favorite Frank moments of all time, lose my shit every time still What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?!? He had 30 home runs, over 100 RBIs last year, he's got a rocket for an arm, you don't know what the hell you're doin'!! Jerry, it's Frank Costanza, Mr. Steinbrenner is here, George is dead, call me back!
Just watched The Pool Boy for the first time. Easily a top ten episode and easily one of Jason Alexander's best.
Seems like this comes up every 10 or so pages, but the best part about this moment is if you watch just before his outburst and you can see Stiller trying to hold it together while biding his time.
Modern Seinfeld @SeinfeldToday George gets kicked out of Five Guys for just eating the peanuts. Louis CK asks Jerry to play a villainous version of himself on "Louie."
Think I've said this before in this thread, but the scene(s) beginning where George goes to the movie theatre until the end of the episode may be,pound for pound, the best in Seinfeld history.
Two that have to be top 5: 1) "You couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a date with a hot babe......." 2) "FRANK: Who put you up to this, was it her? ELAINE: All right. Wait a minute. I think you've got it backwards. FRANK: My George isn't clever enough to hatch a scheme like this. ELAINE: You got that right. FRANK: What the hell does that mean? ELAINE: That means whatever the hell you want it to mean. FRANK: You sayin' you want a piece of me?"
This might be my all-time favorite line. Another one I submit: You're a portly fellow. A bit long in the waistband. What's your pleasure? Is it the salty snacks that you crave? Noooo. Your's is a sweet tooth. You may stray but you always return to your dark master. The cocoa bean.
JERRY!! The Japanese guys had sake in the hot tub! You gotta get em out of the drawers and down here or I don't have a focus group to sell the pilot to Japanese TV!!!!!
I watched the disc with The Caddy on it last night since y'all were talking about it. On the Secret Code, Kramer says another great line but I can't figure out what the hell he calls Jerry. "You just joked your way out of a commercial, Monjamba"
Where does the meat go? Right there. Where do you turn it on? Right there. But WHERE, does the meat go?
The interview tonight between Seinfeld and Letterman was fantastic. I'm guessing it will be online in the morning.
CBS only uploaded 2 minutes of it. Wish there was more to see. What all did they talk about because all I saw was the bit on Jerry's new internet show and how Letterman wanted to be on it. Was hoping they'd discuss the Louie episodes where Jerry and Louie try to take over the Late Show from Letterman.
Love how he framed the set with "what's annoying today" closing bit was pretty weak, which I'm sure is eating at him.
It was mostly Dave and Jerry ripping each other's shows in nice but passive aggressive ways that was great to watch.
Don't yell out any lines from Seinfeld. He seemed kind of annoyed when people did that at the show I went. I'm jealous.
Oh my! Seinfeld was amazing tonight. He just killed it for about an hour and a half, came back for a Q&A and ended with a "Hello, Newman!" after he got a Newman question. one of the better standups i've seen in a long long time.
He's laying in Asheville (about 40 minute drive) in about 2 weeks and im really leaning towards going now thanks to this post.
I guess after watching seinfeld, I have to go check out her show edit: that was supposed to start at 5:46, but the whole clip is (obviously) great
and now hulu is recreating jerry's apartment like some kind of museum? http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/tv/news/a35683/new-york-seinfeld-apartment/ Hulu didn't just spend a ton of money on the rights to stream Seinfeld for nothing. In addition to the coveted acquisition, the company will create a real-life New York City model of Jerry's Upper West Side apartment (though the show was filmed in Los Angeles). The apartment will feature interactive elements allowing visitors to experience memorable moments from the series. The installment will be open to the public beginning on June 24-28 at 451 West 14th St. from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Seinfeld debuts on Hulu June 24.
