Here's the deal in my opinion. Jackson is OK. But I think the Seahawks are being cute with the QB pick ups. Whitehurst is a back up at best, but we jumped on the guy quickly. Jackson I feel the same way. The problem with the offense last year from what I could tell was o-line - which we're improving. That means Lynch should open up the passing game and if that happens, we just need somebody serviceable as QB. ? I don't fucking know. I just think these QB guys are like the rams picking Mike Schad (after Dickerson trade) and Lawrence Phillips. Just weird "we know better than you" type moves.
I haven't been following Whitehurst much, but there's no way he can start this season? I watched a little bit of that Sunday night game he started towards the end of the season and he didn't play that bad.
He has zero touch, it's quite frustrating to watch. Getting Mebane back was huge and, like Super said, we really just need someone who is serviceable at QB. I don't necessarily think Tavaris is someone who can win us the big game but he's nothing more than a stop-gap until the 2012 draft. Super, would you cum buckets if we got Barkley?
How is that LB from Wake Forest doing? Arron Curry, I believe. I remember him being a best in the combine, but I haven't really fllowed him since being in the NFL.
i would not cum buckets. i'd dribble the semen. i'm more interested in a killer RB to match up with God Lynch.
Cowher is a fag. Seattle has made some nice pickups, could be a loss worse although not as good of an offseason as my Eagles so far That OL could be the real fucking deal in the near future if they stay healthy. Although the NW in me kind of hopes Seattle tanks it this season and ends up with Andrew Luck. Won't happen cause they're not that bad and in a shitty division but one can hope.
If we look like we're a QB away, I'm down to sell the house for Luck (two 1st, two 2nds) but I doubt that would even be enough : /
Man. What a brutal offseason for the 'face of the franchise' players. I like how this offseason has gone, but losing Hasslebeck and Tatupu is crazy.
Enjoy the South Carolina fans who think Cindy Rice's numbers are more important than wins Seahawks fans yes I mad
I like the approach we're taking in free agency with signing players that played for our current coaches. Addressing some of our needs with what we feel first hand are proven commodities.
I'm a Panthers fan but now that the Falcons drafted Cliff Matthews and have John Abraham i'm going to root for both of them to win.
i always root for our guys teams to do well but if it comes down to one of them balling out and losing or doing jack shit and winning im gonna hope they ball every time
If two QBs are going off the board before RGIII, why would we need to trade up to get him? We're gonna be in the thick of the shit teams.
I'd love to get Barkley, just don't know what more than draft picks we can offer. Maybe 2012 1st rd pick, 2013 1st rd pick and a 2nd
