There were shadows all around them. One shadow was as dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armoured like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armour made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood. He "dreams" about this while recovering from his fall (I think)
so perhaps his contact with Jaime (being pushed) made him perceive a piece of his future. I remember that now.
I don't think so. I think he just dreamed about the three eyed raven. But, if grrm had plans for Clegane Bowl + Jaime, I'm sure they will do it.
That is definitely happening. They wouldn't have had that scene last night otherwise. How it comes about is the question.
Third time for love right? Btw, is Tyrion in on it with Cersei? Otherwise what's his thought process on how he just got her to flip her script? I kind of would have liked a Varys/Tyrion scene "do you really believe Cersei will honour her pledge?" Just seemed like everyone forgot everything they ever knew about Cersei because she said some pretty words. I laughed audibly when Bronn had to leave the scene before Lena could come out. Can't believe they still won't do a scene together.
I think Arya is going to return to KL with the Hound to cross Cersei off her list, perhaps Arya will wear Jaime or Tyrion's face while killing Cersei.
They used to date and Bronn goes into jealous fits when he does a scene with Lena because she is very friendly with the other actors and the crew.
I thought it was Cersei who refused to do scenes with Bronn? If it's the other way that's a super bitch move by the guy.
Perhaps it is Cersei who refuses to do scenes with him but his jealousy seems to be the root cause, at least from what I read.
start at the 4 minute mark and they are in the same scene, although very brief and dont talk to each other
I always thought "armoured like the sun" makes it clear that this is a reference to Oberyn. House Martell's sigil is a sun. The Mountain is deeply intertwined in both him and The Hound's fate.
Has Jamie admitted to anyone that he pushed Bran out of the tower? I'm sure they will find a way around it, but if he's riding for Winterfell, a lot of people are going to want him dead, and even moreso when that comes out.
No, he hasn't. This brings up the question, Is Jaime on Arya's list? I can't imagine the Starks forgiving Jaime for doing that to Bran, even if he brings troops with him to fight alongside them. Unless Bran, himself, forgives Jaime.
Bran is definitely going to be all "I'm glad you pushed me...it lead to my becoming the three eyed raven"
Lotta people think Bran can actually walk and is just faking this whole time to get out of doing things. I won't say I agree, but it's def an interesting theory.
As reported by The Telegraph a few years ago, Jerome Flynn (Bronn) and Lena Headey (Cersei) used to date each other and they reportedly had quite a messy break-up. In fact, a crew member told the newspaper that they're now kept apart on set. “Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms anymore and they are never in the same room at the same time. It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs,” a member of the crew told The Telegraph.
Wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Would fit with GRRM's style of turning literary tropes on their head too, with a woman being the tragic hero and the man living on.
Supposedly episode descriptions for Season 8 have leaked. Just a warning, in case they end up being real.
Try and remember Bran is only like 12 years old. You’re going to sit here and act like you never played hooky to get out of something at that age?
kid that loves climbing all over the fucking place suddenly decided to milk not being able to walk Wights chasing after me? Carry me faster Hodor
I'm sure he wanted to stop a truly bad practical joke at that point, but was just in so deep after all this time and, being a naive kid, let Hodor die for the joke. It's one of the saddest parts of GoT to me (if the theory is correct).
I don't know if Tryon loves her but there may be some sadness in seeing the handsome brave warrior getting the girl and knowing he will never have that
Don't know if it was mentioned itt but have we talked about the Wolf pommel on Longclaw opening its eye when Jon emerged from the water?
Sword definitely magically opened its eyes. Has nothing to do with the giant splash of water landing on it.
fake news people this is old and busted the eye doesn't open; it's a reflection. Watch the scene in the dragon pit from Sunday. It was flickering over and over.
Read something about this season involving LF. Apparently every scene he was in after Bran returned, you hear crows in the background, which is allegedly Bran spying on him.
Spoiler http://www.desinerd.co.in/game-of-thrones-season-8-episode-1-leak-script/ they are absolute crap and could very well be made up by fan boys, but somewhat believable given the writing of this past season. Read at your own risk.
Spoiler I think they it's probably realistic fan fic so far. It's not like you have to be overly creative to match the show writing these days. S08E01S05 seems like it can't fit with what happened in the finale so either they changed the article or its fan fiction. Still interesting though. :Fistbump:
Spitballing here: What if Jon is Azor Ahai (TPTWP) reborn and Dany is the sacrifice to create Lightbringer? In order to forge Lightbringer Jon has to stab Dany in the heart in order to conquer the Night King?
I was only recently hipped to the theory that Rhaegar was AA, Lyanna was Nissa Nissa, and Jon is Lightbringer/PWWP. I'm a big fan.
The only part I'm trying to put together is the part of the prophecy is that TPTWP was born of "Smoke and Salt". He fits the part of being from the Targaryen blood line. Maybe that could coincide with "Smoke" but and grasping how Lyanna fills the "Salt" part. Gotta look into Dorne and the ToJ more and see if there is anything there that can be used as "Smoke and Salt" Edit: There is a Saltshore region in Dorne along with a Brimstone River in the South, but the ToJ was Northern Dorne in the Red Mountains.
The salt and smoke refers to his stabbing. Blood has salt and I don't have the books in front of me but they mention like steam or something coming from the wounds which covers the smoke part. He will be brought back thus born again
Spoiler Yeah, there are inconsistencies across the s8 outlines. Especially comparing the end of s7 vs what is outlined here for s8, but I doubt the s8 scripts are finalized. Did you read the outlines for all 6 episodes? I sure hope this is fake because that ending sucks.
can you guys keep the season 8 spoiler shit out of here? even in spoilers I think it should go in its own thread.
