dude was so bad and so hated that they would rather spend an extra $7.5m instead of just waiting three more weeks
I bet they reached a buyout and I bet their attorneys told them he'd sue if he got fired on October 2, it certainly was worth it for both sides
Even cut it in half and it's a lot of money. I can't imagine Frost gave up too much to not coach 3 more weeks.
He’s a dead man walking why would he want to coach the next couple of games when he knows he’s getting fired either way
This site is full of lawyers who can explain it better but contracts are expected to be executed in good faith. He might not win the suit but if he got fired after they beat IU on October 1 I believe that would be a reasonable case that the school didn't act in good faith
The $7.5m goes away on 10/1. If they gave him $1m to leave now, that's $1m more than he's have on 10/1.
Just tag us next time. I’m sure there are a few Michigan fans not parked outside a hospital right now that could shed some light on contract enforcement.
Who cares about the money. Either they negotiated something or they didn't and a booster(s) said fuck it, do it now. Either way...money isn't the problem here. He was. Now he's gone. #GBR!
