God damn, the Zork reference, the clone lesbian sex, Jerry wanting to be a cuck in the situation. Easily one of the funniest episodes in the past couple of seasons.
I think there’s a thread on it somewhere but have you guys watched Roiland’s other show Solar Opposites? I casually knocked out all 3 seasons the last couple weeks and it’s usually entertaining with more than a few hilarious lines per ep.
Laughed pretty damn hard at Jerry not being able to throw up because Sleepy Gary ruined his gag refelx.
Great episode this week. Amazing how well the writers anticipated the backlash (maybe too strong a word) against the no-portal gun plotlines.
The most meta thing I’ve ever seen. That one would take a few rewatches which I’m not trying to do until after the season or something.
Liked the recent episode and making fun of plotline cliches and tropes, and how it built off the anticipated no portal gun episodes stuff with things like the line about making more adventures like season 1, whatever that means.
At least he just voices a minor character. Oh wait, he’s BOTH of the title characters, really? Ah, well, nevertheless
He hasn't written much in a couple seasons and was mostly just a voice a actor. Granted he was THE voice actor on the show but there are guys out there who can mimic the two mains. The show will go on.
I know there are people that can do the voice out there but Roland was great at the improv of it. Some of the funniest shit in the show was him being half drunk making shit up.

This show has been going off the rails IMO. Hopefully they pull it back. The knights of the sun episode last season really made me think they are not trying at all.
