Was always weird to me. It’s like we all had to pretend that he didn’t still do all of those amazing things on the field. Should have just penalized the school.
Hell yeah. One of the greatest players to do it. So happy I got the chance to see him live a few times.
Bush was majorly involved with probably the most heartbreaking loss I have seen in my fandom life of any team and I still think he deserves to have it back. 19 year old me would kill me for this opinion, I don't have that Rivals in me no more
Early 2000s was best of the recent eras. Loved the different styles of play. Pro style, air raid, Rich Rod zone read, etc.
i was in a class with marcus lattimore when he was a freshman and kind of blowing up. one day before class he was just watching this video in disbelief. someone said something along the lines of how he was that good as well and he just laughed and said absolutely not. always stuck with me how even elite athletes years later still were just in absolute shock and awe at how good reggie bush was.
seems like everyone thought the texans were absolutely insane to take mario williams over reggie which is hilarious looking back on it with how devalued running backs are imagine taking one 2nd overall in the last couple years lol couldnt be me
His running style was always awesome. Like he tucked the ball in his arm but held it away from is body and just glided when he ran. Fun player to watch.
Pre CJ being the GOAT, the lead up to that draft is easily the most engaged Texans fans have been with the team. Vince Young being a hometown kid coming off a national championship broke a lot of brains.
Yep, he was before his time. He was a fine NFL player, but could have been used like a Kamara or a McCaffrey.
