Looks like I'll be farming for exotics this weekend. My hunter would be 335 except for bad luck on exotic boot engrams. I decrypted 4 as a 334 and not one of them was 335. It seems to be about 50/50 on getting 334/335 items when you are 334. Oh well, at least I have something to do now.
Last night I ran a CoE with lazy and David and got a 335 bond with my Warlock after I had finished off my Sigil with him. Earlier today I ran one solo because I was bored and got a 335 Lord of Wolves. I don't know if they were random loot drops or if they were somehow score related or what. But if you can get end game LL gear as random drops just for completing CoE, it should make the grind for 335 ridiculously easy. If anyone wants to speed run through some just to see what's up, let me know.
You'd basically just have to kill the 3 Champs and nothing else to get the drops correct? Would be a real easy grind for those 3 exotics too if they just randomly drop.
Yeah. I just solo'd 3, and one 335 Titan mark dropped. Also, averaged only like 11-12 minutes per solo run. So if we get maybe 2 Titans running Weapons and Gift of the Void and a tether Hunter, that shit should go real quick. Also, I'm thinking it's just class items and the 3 PoE exotic weapons that drop, but that's ok, too.
it's funny. i don't think they can fix the issue without another incursion but they can't release another quickly and let the same shit happen.
So I've run CoE quite a few times today trying to come up with the quickest run possible. This one is 9:14. So if you're in need of ghosts, class items or the CoE exotic weapons, and no one is on to help, this is a pretty good quick farm. Oh, and Karl Hungus, those teabags at the end are for you
I just did a weekly heroic strike and got a gold primary engram. I'm 309 light level. Should I not decrypt it?
The higher your light level, the higher the item will be. They will usually be 3-5 light levels higher than your current light level. I used mine as boosters when I had a weapon/armor piece that was lagging behind my light level. If it's your only one, you should save it.
This was a good weekend to do trials. A lot of terrible players just coming back to the game were queuing up. Was able to go flawless earlier this morning before the really good players started getting on.

4 boxes these first two weeks of patch and 4 pieces of spektar gear. helm, gauntlets, chest and boots. All red chroma'ed out. Pretty cool.
Fwiw, Odin and I finished the scorecard in 2 rounds of CoE. You just need a spammy Sunsinger using firebolt grenades.
any warlock or sunbreaker should work quite well, since the update voidwalkers may actually be the best but i haven't fucked around with one yet. hunters are best served to tether and assist.
Definitely works very well. For the first two rounds I used a voidwalker with voidfang vestments and axion bolts. Make sure you run the hunger + embrace the void and it's unlimited tracking grenades with 3 trackers. on round 3 axion bolts can't one shot the vex so I had to switch to scatter grenades
This is what I used and it was pretty fun. Worked well...other than the 4-5 times I killed myself with them.
i think voidwalker might be the best warlock for pve. endless grenades, no self res crutch, don't have to use glide, constant health regen, the best subclass specific exotics, dont have to use glide
