I just finished it (finally). I really enjoyed it. A good combination of mike schur and shaes humor and sentimentality. Acting was rough at certain points but that usually just added to the charm.
primo's landscaping company owner uncle kills me the most but I feel like all of them have their own charm
“The frowning one” Is how he is on the phone, right? But yeah, they all have their own charm for sure
I love Shea's books but I went in skeptical of the premise a little, ended up really enjoying it. Has funny and touching moments, each uncle has their moments but the banker and the one who does irrigation are the funniest imo.
It's super corny but still pretty enjoyable. I probably wouldn't have ever given it a chance if it wasn't done by Shea.
