Anyone start watching this show yet? It’s basically a hard boiled Psych, and two episodes in, I love it.
Only watched 1 ep (are all eps an hour or just the first?) but I loved it. Excited to watch more tomorrow
Watched ep 2 tonight. I have no idea why they released 4 at once, but we’re really enjoying it. So likely watch ep 3 tomorrow
I find it formulaic and repetitive. Her schtick gets to me a bit too. Feels like a modern day hitchhiker.
I think that’s part of the appeal of the show. It’s formulaic like a classic tv show, but executed at such a high level with so many great people involved, it’s fun to watch. It’s one reason we haven’t watched more than an episode at a time (and why I have no idea why nbc released 4 at once)
It is hit or miss for me but much better as a weekly. When I binged the first 4 they all felt too similar. The formula gets irritating after a bit. Now I spend my time looking to see where and if she may be in the background during certain scenes.
Just wrapped season 1, Spoiler some Kill Bill vibes with the penultimate episode, arm coming up through the ground. very interested to see where her travels take her next and what sort of cameos we’ll see in season 2
I'm through 8 eps. Definitely not a binger but enjoyable. The only one I didn't like was the one with Nick Nolte and the heads.
Maybe if I had more time between eps I'd feel differently but this shit was so repetitive it became very formulaic and unlikable.
I still liked it but yeah- so repetitive. No way I could binge it. The show requires a lot of suspension of disbelief.
