Anyone watching this show? Just started it yesterday and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I hate half of the competitors but I don't have to survive with them so that makes it okay.
Sixteen people dropped off in remote southeastern Alaska with very limited supplies. Told to form teams of 4 and then given designated areas to claim as their own. Occasionally given equipment supply drops with tasks. No real rules besides no physical violence towards one another I suppose but you can also change teams whenever you want. Every person is given a flare to fire when they want to quit. The last team (or maybe even individual?) to make it gets $1,000,000. I'm only 4 episodes into the 8 total but it has been interesting thus far. I'm very into nature but not into reality shows so it has been surprisingly fun. The social dynamics combined with the harsh elements and their circumstances has made it entertaining.
On ep 4 now, can’t believe the production crew let those two review footage if what the other team did isn’t against the rules.
I think the production team tried to stick to the "no rules" philosophy throughout. It gets a bit hairy though. I imagine they'll need slightly more structure if they do another season.
