flight ended up being delayed so didn't make it to that part of the strip until like 2 hours before my flight left town

 

Question:

All 10 of us are going to be arriving approx 7 AM on Friday. Probably going to drop our stuff at the hotel to hold until we can check in, then go hit up a breakfast spot. Buffet? What would y'all recommend?

Second, what would be some options for things to do during the day besides gambling/pool parties, but staying budget friendly? I think shooting guns and driving exotic cars will be a little out of our range (it was pulling teethe getting a cabana, I doubt they'll splurge for anything extra). May just go our separate ways. Just looking for some alternative options here.

favorite breakfast spot is serendipity. most buffets all do the same shit with an omelet station and prime rib. morning/afternoon is a great time to explore the strip, walking from one casino to the next

I was really confused seeing this thread bumped without getting a notification...

 

where are you staying? you can always chill at your regular hotel pool while you wait for your room to be ready. have the cab/limo take you by a liquor store on the way to your hotel from the airport and you can buy some liquor/booze to pregame in your room. when i go, we usually tell each guy to pack a bottle in his suitcase to drink in the room. it saves the guys who don't gamble a shit load of money.

 

There is a reasonably priced liquor store in the airport. Also. I'm returning to Vegas in 3 days! 5 day trip this time. Oh let do it!

25 days away. It's been 14 months since my last Vegas trip. Hope I'm not out of practice. Worried about the tolerance levels.

 

I was worried about my tolerance too. Been working out and drinking 123 proof bourbon to build it back up.

I fucking love craps, it's really the only game I play. I've already gotten everyone else to download some free app to learn how to play. Last bachelor party I paid for my entire trip with about a 2 hour long heater at approx 5 AM in the morning before my 9 AM flight.

Staying at the Venetian. Will definitely do that. Although I'm hoping most will want to gamble.

 

I heard really good things about Hostel Cat while out in San Diego, might give that a shot next time I go out there to save a lil money on hotel accommodation

 

I really can't wait for the late night/morning craps session. Nothing better. Drinks flowing, everybody socializing, *hopefully* making money.

Yep. Always get jack n coke or mimosas when I'm on the floor. Highly recommended the mimosas. Free strawberry and they don't skimp on the amount of sparkling wine.

Just had a convo with someone in the bachelor party and he asked me if I could switch the dates to a day sooner for departure and arrival. I wouldnt mind it cause its a little cheaper but I dont want to ask everyone if they can get an extra day off of work

I went all in an roulette roll. It hit. 3 times in a row. Can't wait to lose it all tonight on the craps table when I try to do it again. If I were to stop now, my entire trip would be paid for. I ain't no sucker. We got so it big din!

Bardot definitely. Buddy V's at Venetian for Italian. Lago or Yellowtail at Bellagio for seafood. Julian Serrano at Aria for Spanish/tapas. Javier's at Aria for Mexican---and check out the history of Mexico sculpture that fills the back wall. Blossom at Aria for Chinese.

Xec has raved about Bardot since it has opened. Julian Serrano is legit too

Did Julian Serrano last night. Amazing. Get the paella and the pixnot chorizo. Maybe the best thing I've ever eaten.



Got reservations for Lago tonight. New restaurant at Bellagio that's getting rave reviews. We shall see. We're up $2K. Won $800 or so last night and hit 3 consecutive spins on roulette

 

I'm working Monday morning. When will you be up dicing and rouletting? You still have my telephone number? You'll like Lago. It's a Michael Minha concept, as is Bardot. And, yes, the Julian Serrano paella is outstanding.
