The Bank is ok, but I think it's fading as far as the club scene goes. There are tons of bars at every place. The piano bar at Harrahs is fun. Just go wherever you feel like and there will likely be free or cheap booze within 15 yards of you.
We got the Bank Friday night, Cabana at the Hard Rock Pool Saturday (by far cheapest we could find), and dinner at Joe's Seafood Saturday night (http://www.joes.net/las-vegas). Saturday night is up in the air.
My gf gave me 700 cash for Vegas for my birthday spent 400 of it in ATL tuesday on liqour and a hotel for the both of us
I hate all of you assholes. You're getting ready to go and I'm getting sanduskied on airfare so I'm having to put it off.
Tao was pretty cool. The club in Paris is supposed to be one of the best in Vegas. The one in Cosmopolitan is amazing as well. Also hear a lot about the one in Aria. Those are the three that everybody seems to talk about/recommend whenever we're there. Haven't been to the Aria one myself though.
The club in Paris is Chateau, you can find some decent ass in there from time to time but it's nothing special. The top club in Vegas right now is XS again, Marquee (the one in Cosmo) is right there with it though. Haze at Aria is good some nights, it's not in the elite group of clubs but it's solid and you can get a good table for the same money you'd spend at XS or Marquee for an average table. The easiest way to tell what caliber of club you're dealing with is by looking at the talent they book. This weekend: Marquee/XS- Deadmau5, Avicii, Kaskade, Steve Angelo, Tiesto, David Guetta, A&B, Armin Van Buren Tryst- Afrojack, Skrillex, Lil Jon Haze- Fabolous, Akon, Laidback Luke Bank/Chateau- Jason Derulo, Eric Delux, and people I haven't even heard of
loved their setup, b/c even if you hate the bumping elbow crowd you can just go outside by the pool that the clubs opens up to and still hear the DJ
Holy shit that was insane. So much fucking fun. Friday got there and went down about $250 immediately playing blackjack. Joe's was awesome (sat one table away from Julio Jones and Roddy White, shot the shit for like 10 minutes while they were waiting for the food. They were with some BUSTED ass white girls). The Bank on Friday night was crazy as shit too. Don't remember much. Cabana at Hard Rock was probably the highlight of the trip. The scene was wild as shit. Didn't even have to ask, she was our host when we got there. Appreciate it nonetheless. Saturday night went to some average place, can't remember, then just gambled and went to strip clubs Saturday night. Incredible, again. Didn't sleep all night Saturday, packed my shit up and 3 of us went and played craps for 3-4 hours before our plane left. Won a clean grand.
Saw this last Tuesday. I have no idea what the fuck was going on in the show, but it was awesome. Well worth the money.
Stupid question, can you get beers in addition to bottles in VIP? Everything in vegas seems more geared towards liquor. Is beer looked down upon as low people, not fancy enough? We got bottles and a bucket of beer at a club in AC, but that was Jersey.
Absolutely. We always do that out there. The minimums were fucking nuts. We had a cabana next to mark cuban at encore beach club. We were next to darren mcfadden the second day over at rehab. That dude is fucking huge!
Going back in July. Our Casino Host at MGM got us VIP for the first weekend of march madness and we had a taped off area with about 20 TVs and 3 personal betting windows. No long lines. All you can drink and eat
Just leaving Vegas. Had to work today. Flew in yesterday for a fun day and just got torn up in craps but won at everything else. I had a couple hours between accounts so since I had a rental car I decided to go to The M. Liked it a lot however their table game section was very very small. Played some craps there and made a couple hundred back. Sports book is legit there. Can't wait to come back next month for my scheduled trip.
Ive been hearing a lot of Jimmy Buffett at work lately and it makes me miss Vegas. I spent a ton of time at Margaritaville casino inside Flamingo last trip. Love playing craps there.
Had an unreal time with 15 of my friends during spring break - each threw in $70 and got a free upgrade to a double Penthouse Suite at the Aria on the 35/37th floor...just absolutely ridiculous...Michael Jordan was having his golf tournament and because we were in the same tower we had open bar access the entire time plus free snacks (buffalo wings, pizza, chicken parm, etc.)...best weekend of my life.
probably on the one where it hit 15. then he was like, well it's not gonna hit 19 again, that's for sure
if I'm doing the math right, $10 on 19 through all of those numbers would've netted 2820 particularly frustrating because 19 is one of the 5 numbers I always bet on when I play roulette
