He’s partially responsible for it because he created this idea that Miami has to go big or go home, which is nonsense. That’s what I’m most critical of him about. We don’t have to go big game hunting every summer. there are plenty of quality players in the league each summer that the Heat can try and add to the roster instead of giving Spo a bunch of G leaguers to fill up the roster. Spo shouldnt have to spend half the season teaching guys around Jimmy and Bam how to play basketball so the Heat can be good.

Lowry should have been jettisoned in the offseason. Now cheap ass Mickey is just going to let his contract expire and get nothing of value for him. Duncan’s contract is an albatross but he played decent in the playoffs and they could have probably gotten something of value back for him and yet, he remains. Tyler gives you empty calories for stats and should have been moved once the Dame stuff fell apart. He will never be more than a number 3 on a good team and that’s not what they’re paying him as.

Idk but this team definitely plays better when Tyler isn’t in. Honestly seeing how Duncan has been playing over this stretch has made me realize that’s how Tyler should be used not the dribble dribble dribble take a tough shot stuff. Just move around without the ball and let someone find you for an open look cutting to the rim or a look from three.
