Napoli have given up on Criscito per De Laurenitas. The clubs reached a deal, but Criscito has been on vacation in the US all summer and hasnt agreed to a contract. It's also speculated that Inter will go after Criscito again now that Gasperini appears to be the manager. It's believed Criscito would say yes to Inter as Gasperini is Criscito's "mentor"
Woooooooooooooooooooooo it's the day of the blind envelopes!* *I fully expect to be pissed at our management when all is said and done
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Bologna bid 4.7, Inter bid 4.1 for Viviano but the Bologna director filled out the paperwork wrong so Inter win the auction. It was reported earlier that if Bologna won they promised Roma Viviano Edit: The report says that they were suppose to put 4.7 in both columns but they put 2.35 in both so they technically bidded 2.35
Inter are going to sign Santos defender Jonathan for 5 million. He has an EU passport also. And it looks like a Pandev-Palacio swap is in the works between Inter and Genoa. He better get that weird long strand of hair cut if he comes to Inter
Criscito is joining Spalletti at Zenit. It's official per the Zenit website. Interesting choice by Criscito to say the least
Wasn't saying I wanted him at Inter. He was negotiating with Napoli, his home town club, and his wife is also having a kid so it doesn't make much since to leave the country IMO. Also if he was patient PSG was interested in him and they are throwing all kinds of money around.
-Bayern Lev. have confirmed they rejected a 10 million euro bid from Milan for Vidal. -Viola are selling Cerci to Man City for €6 million according to reports -50% of Luca Caldirola was sold to Cesena for €2 million. He will remain at Inter however...it's believed Gasperini requested that
I used to him til he turned into a complete bitch in my football manager game. Skipping training sessions and hurting the team morale
Also forgot to post this in here, but Massimo Moratti wanted to hire Miha as our manager, but Branca and Angelomario Moratti(next president) wanted Gasperini so that's who we went with
I know it's a bullshit rumor but how excited would you be gaknight if the Pandev-Vucinic swap materialized??
Love the new Away and 3rd Kits.... Not sure I like the Home kits. Also Nasri rumors in 4th gear today. I hate all the rumors
Inter have sold the remaining 50% of Italy U21 international Mattia Destro to Genoa. Genoa then sail 50% of the player to Siena
Milan has loaned 3 players to Torino. Simone Verdi (18), Ferdinando Coppola (33) and Nnamdi Oduamadi (20)
“He costs €100m,” De Laurentiis told the Corriere dello Sport today. “Besides, if I really do have to sell Hamsik, I’d give him to Inter. Adriano Galliani never asked me for him, whereas Massimo Moratti did and was very polite about it. “He asked me three years ago for Hamsik, then two months ago enquired if anything had changed. I replied no, but I was impressed by his attitude. “I promised to Moratti that if things do change, then Inter will have a sort of moral option on Hamsik.” If only we could afford him...
Seems like we're going to focus on South Americans this summer. Jonathan, Alvarez, Banega, & Lamela(I dont think we're actually pursuing him) are all being linked with us daily. All but Banega out of that group have EU passports. One of our directors is also extending his stay in Argentina apparently
Sportsmediaset reporting Alvarez to Inter is a done deal for 13.7 million. Know very little about him besides that he is an Argentinian forward with a EU passport. Was supposedly suppose to be a done deal to Arsenal like a week a ago. It's reported that a phone call from Javier Zanetti may have changed his mind to Inter. GdS says there is also an agreement for Banega for 9 million. Would be a good buy, better than Poli who Sampdoria wants 10 million for. *I do not expect these deals to be done, just passing along info. Also Gasperini is introduced Tuesday then preseason starts Thursday :)
"Apparently" we bought Alvarez to try and sell him on to Palermo in a deal for Pastore The media gets better by the day
Alvarez is kind of a Kaka type of player, only he's a lefty. He's a better crosser of the ball thought, which is why he plays better off the wings, but he's less composed, which is why he isn't as good as Kaka down the middle. However, he is young and Kaka also, took his time to blossom and only moved to europe at 22. As for him not being a starter, i have no idea where people are getting that impression, he is the star of Velez. It's a good buy IYAM.
No he was not a full time starter and definitely not the star of the team. For like a month Roma was rumored to be signing him so I heard enough about him. He was like a part time starter but normally came off the bench, scored a grand total of 3 goal(5 in his career), and not worth over $10 million
Can't say I'm too mad about Alvarez. Thing though is Wenger identified him but once again didn't get a deal done. Happens far far too often. Don't understand the interest in this player TBQH. Seemed like kind of a if Arsenal didn't get involved then half the teams chasing him wouldn't have gotten involved. Think we already have better backup CAMs than him that are more accustomed to the English game. I could be totally wrong of course as I've only seen him in 1 game and highlights and a lil research. Really doesn't seem very accomplished at 23 to be getting this sort of interest.
I wish we could change our thread title like the club threads. Could make witty comments about all the wonderful hair in Serie A, how our managers are so very fashionable, and how every player costs €50 million
I wouldn't mind a new one. I like all the club info in the OP but it a lot needs to be updated such as taking out Sampdoria and adding Napoli and Palermo...also update the club stats for trophies(only Inter and Milan need this). Needs to show that we only have 3 champs league spots now instead of 4. And yeah Shocker would do it, I'm not around enough when I'm at school to update, plus he would come up with better titles.
