Spoiler 3 minute trailer and it didn't even have anything about Canto Bight, and Benicio, and Laura Dern? Nice. There's a lot left out there. Predictions: Luke is referring to Ben Solos raw power. Seems obvious bit I've seen some talk about him meaning Vader. Definitely Ben. Definitely a misdirection at the end there. Rey is not talking to Kylo. All those starships! Awesome. That booster on the back of that X-Wing looks so cool.
After reading Leia, Princess of Alderaan, I am more curious than ever to see Laura Dern's character Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. Very curious indeed.
Watch the trailer. It's not spoilery. Some lines are said and scenes are cut to make it seem like it gives away some shit, but i fully believe that it's all misdirection. There's no "huge reveal" that is going to be spoiled by anything in this trailer. It is missing so much from it that it barely scratches the surface of the storyline. This movie is going to so fucking good.
I can't stop thinking about that goddamn crystal wolf. I know the porgs are getting all the pre-release hype, but I feel like those crystal wolves might sneak in and steal star of the movie status.
My daughter's karate instructor sent out an email today saying they rented out a theater for all students and parents for the movie.
Got so pissed at myself. The theater we usually use has had one screen with reserved seating, which was the Dolby Atmos with the power recliners,etc. Had Fandango and AMC open and as soon as I saw it available, I nabbed 6 seats right in the middle of the theater...one of the first seats booked. Through a series of texts with another buddy, it came to my attention that I had actually booked the iMax 3d screen. Fuck. Was able to get a refund on those tix (less the "convenience fee"...wtf?) but was up until 10pm waiting for the AMC website to finally go through again and got the Dolby seats at another theater. Crisis averted.
I think the porg looks out of place. When I see it, in my head is a Disney suit saying "yeah the movie is good but what we really need something cute to sell kids". They might as well of called it polaf the force sensitive talking snowman /hot take
Between that and the 2nd BB unit I felt the same way. Curious to see how it plays in. Kinda seems like it might be forced.

A Facebook friend of mine just said her sister was just hired to animate for rebels. Seems odd considering the show is already wrapped. I guess the only possible explanation is that they are already working on the next show but using the title “Rebels” to keep things quiet.
