I'm a couple episodes in, it is a 6 episode mini-series I believe. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1399664/ Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston. It's pretty good.
Anyone catch the last episode? Huge fan. This show might be my favorite on right now and it's a shame it's only a miniseries.
Great show. Love the setpieces and all of the actors. Ready for the midget shithead to get shitcanned.
Sterling A rickyrubio4life Question. Homeboy is in the shed and beats up those two agents and they beat the shit outta him... do they run away before roeper comes down or what?
Yeah, they ran away. The kid told his dad that Loki "scared them away" even though the kid didn't actually see them run off. They ran out and then reported back to their contact that they thought they might have killed Loki once he snapped the one dude's arm.
Pine you mean? Still wondering why its not a bigger coincidence seeing him in swiss then some chef at a place in ritzy spain. Granted hes on the run but cmon. Also obvi cia and mi6 lettin roeper do their dirty work
The last episode showed there were high level Brits working for Roeper, not sure what you're getting at. My only gripe with the show is they are doing things too quickly but it is a mini series.
Still really enjoying the show. My only complaint is the predictable adultery angle and how stupid it would be for Loki to pull that shit. The only possible justification would be that he thinks he can manipulate her into helping him, but I don't think they're even trying to play it that way. He caught all kinds of feels for the first woman after banging her once before she was killed, so he definitely seems to fall hard.
Really enjoyed the last episode. I agree with the above though. Thus might have been my favorite show of the year so far.
Great show, even if Loki is a sucker for love. Really enjoyed Hugh Laurie in his role. Thought it was really well done all the way around. So...anyone else notice him ordering a vodka martini?
I thought the end sort of sucked. The painfully stupid plan to sneak the documents back into the safe... meh
rickyrubio4life blind dog Whered he send the 300m? Why couldnt he go with jed? Whyd she have to leave asap? Enjoyed it. 7.5/10
Thought the small details were really lacking but overall the story and acting was really good. 7.5/10
Just finished watching this (late to the party I know). I thought the performances were fantastic, there was definitely some issues with plausibility but given that it was only a miniseries it didn't detract from the overall experience for me. Hugh Laurie as Roper was fantastic, slimy and menacing and cool all at the same time. Hiddleston was entirely believable in his role. The woman who played Angela Burr was the best of the lot I thought, really well done. 8.5/10
I really wasn't familiar with her before this role (as best I can recall anyway) but I've become a big fan in a hurry. edit - oh shit she was in hot fuzz hahaha Looking forward to seeing her in "The Lobster"
likewise, had never seen her before (guess I need to go watch Hot Fuzz). Just realized she was in Locke too, had no clue. The Lobster looks bizarrely hilarious.
finally got around to watching this over the last couple of days. thought it was good, not great. really enjoyed the slow burn of the first few episodes but thought everything came together too neatly and was too rushed at the end. should've been an eight or nine episode series imo. still, it was a good watch. wish there was a sideplot of burr fucking up the river house + the cia with the press.
I saw the update and got excited that maybe there was more of it coming. Anyways, I enjoyed the hell out of this series.
there are scripts being written for a second series, though no determination on its future has been made yet http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/the-ni...elease-date-tom-hiddleston-trailer-cast-plot/
Finally got around to watching this. Finished it up last night. Thought it was pretty good. A little confused at the ending (what happened to the money? Why didn’t he go with Jed?)
