I’ve watched them all and started the first episode last year and it just didn’t hook me. I never got back around to trying again.
I’ve seen all the Narcos twice, and the first season of Narcos Mexico once. I started up season 2 last year and just couldn’t get into it. I’ll try it again before the third season drops.
I now know what my entire weekend will be built around. Hopefully I can knock this out right before the premier of Yellowstone.
I thought the season was really good. Only negatives where the conclusion of the missing ladies and they never gave a conclusion to what happens to Pancho after setting up his murder
*Pacho, true good point. I enjoyed the season. Walt somehow became less annoying to me although the degree to which he refuses to see himself is a bit frustrating this late in the game. I liked the Victor performance a lot. Spoiler That line about Janet Reno was amazing
Apparently I had a brain fart and forgot about the original Narcos when they dove into the Cali cartel and they show the conclusion of Pacho.
It's 60 hours of Narcos to remember spanning 7 years. We get a pass on this lol Only reason I found out about it was Soup and then my pop's was doing a re-watch of the original Narcos and I had walked into the room as the final EP played out and Pacho's end scene took place.
My only gripe about this show is the subtitles. I love them and hate them at the same time. I find myself reading them when I should be staring at a pair of tits in the screen and then miss out on the titties.
Just finished up. I enjoyed it overall. I feel like there’s more story to tell. Sucks that’s the end. Was that ole hospital bait n switch in another movie? Smoking Aces maybe?
Not sure but I think that’s always been the rumor with what happened to him. Just finished it as well and I was wondering if they’d do another season based around El Chapo leading up to his modern arrests and escapes.
I wish they wouldn’t have spent as much time on the police officer and his side story. Didn’t feel like it added much at all. Spoiler especially with how it ended for him
I liked that side story. Shows the hopelessness and futility of the everyday people caught up in the shit
Yeah, I think that made this season stand out. Much more focus on the everyday lives of Mexicans at the time, everything going on, all the details around the main events that humanize it more. Wasn’t just the big Narcos and DEA and government officials
Finished this morning. Loved it. Great season. Gotta do some reading now on Amado to see what the consensus is on what really happened to him.
I’m still on the fence whether the was killed or an accident. I’m leaning towards killed since the bodies of the doctors were found tortured, and not just dead to keep them quiet.
Didn’t like the side story with the cop. Was thinking it would somehow tie in to drugs and never really did. getting all these Netflix shows confused though. The Escobar and El Chapo shit and this. They all tell the same story, but still confuse me.
Small chance. And least likely imo. The DEA confirmed it was his body, not that they’re credible. His body was shown at the funeral ect
Just finished the season last night and this came up with my wife. She said there are a lot of people who believe he got away.
Sometimes Narcos tries to do way too much. That shootout with the army at the airfield in the last episode, complete with bazooka fire, was
This show was so good. About halfway through season two on a rewatch The woman who played Pablo's mom is an awesome actress
