1st ep was not at all what I was expecting

fucking died at Nathan's prayers before dinner and the burn victim dating show

 

I hope this is not a show that will make it painful on the viewers

 

reviews said it’s gonna be a weird one

 

It's a Nathan Fielder show. Of course it will be. And why theyre great

 

I hate to say it's like a car wreck that I can't look away from, but that first ep wasn't exactly something I care to watch more of

 

this one feels a bit overboard

im fine with the other ones bc they are non-scripted and are exploiting how humans can be

this being scripted just make the over the top shit feel weird and trying to make the viewers the problem

 

it’s a parody and a social commentary. it will be over the top and introspective

 

my point is that the social commentary seems to be "will viewers keep watching something that is so ridiculous and what does it say about them that they are willing to consume it" as opposed to the other stuff that is a social commentary on people in society that he happens to come across

 

i mean we already got into gentrification and objectification and the only weird part was micropenises and aggressive behavior

 

so glad Nathan can finally be himself

I didnt like it. But if you can get through 9 hours, hour 10 is wild

I honestly decided to skip it after watching episode 1 and then all the reviews were pretty much the same as

 

The last couple episodes were pretty good then that last episode, who knows. Bizarre show.

 

I'd heard such good things about the curse. Finally watched it and it's so fucking weird. Not a fan.

I’m on episode 9. The show has done a great job making everyone so incredibly unlikeable. I’m only watching because 1) this thread said ep 10 is a wild one and 2) I hope they all kill each other in ep 10.

I thought ep 10 was some weird variation of the Sixth Sense thing. When the baby was born and the nurse asked if she should go find the husband, Whitney didn’t reply and moved on making it seem like Asher had been gone for a while or something.

Not really an enjoyable show imo.
